Doctors Letter

Girls I am so upset & angry, mya have just called to say that even though they’ve had a letter off my doctor it doesn’t detail heart surgery I had at the age of 4!!!

It’s 4 days before my surgery, my Doctors isn’t open today so there’s nothing I can do yet. I have no PC as she went off sick a week after my first consult & was never assigned another. I had my pre-op over a month ago & mya have only got in touch today, I’m so upset.

Fingers crossed I can get this sorted else it looks like I’m cancelled 🙁 xx

I had lots of Faf with my doctors & I had the same problem it was literally a week before my op I managed to get everything back in time. I complained about this to MYA too.

Which document do they need? Could they just have the summary instead and ask if your surgeon will agree to go off that?

@chrycach Hi Tara, I’m also panicking about my letter! I have one cystic kidney and one normal functioning kidney since birth(I stated this on my form when I had my first consultation) I’m on no medication and have had general anesthetic before. Mya says the nurse has my Gp letter however she’s just consulting with my surgeon… it’s been two days and haven’t heard nothing so I’m in panic mode! Been chasing and I keep getting told they’ll call me once they hear anything =\ my op is Oct 20th. Do let me know how you get on X
