Hi ladies I hope your well. Been a while since I posted. I am very pleased with the results allthough its been an up and down recovery. On my left side the insicion became infected and it wasn’t responding to antibiotics for a while so there was a big scare. But it made improvements in the end and started to close up. However on my left now, i have realised it has become slightly mishaped. Its subtle but theres a slight like dent and then it hangs down. The implant can litterally be felt without me having to bend over or anything. Like i can feel the corners and I can feel it rippling which isnt pleasant and it just feels and looks so fake compared to my left. Do you think this could be capsular contracture? i’m going to book an appointment but just panicking until i can get to clinic x Thanks ladies x

Hi Mel, i have pretty much the same issue as you.. my right as dropped lower an i can feel lots of rippling in the bottom of the breast. I went back to see my surgeon on friday an he just kinda dismissed what id said told me i had a good result an to be happy with it basically. I have just had a look though your profile an seen your pre op pics an it seems you was the same as me an this is how he explained it to me with my pre op pics. So pre op my left breast was slightly lower (same as yours were) so when he placed the implants in there pocket he placed my right one lower to try even them out only now the right is lower an has rippling but its only felt not seen. Told me to sleep in a bra always, even though at my 6 week appointment he said after 12 weeks its not needed. I feel abit down about it to be honest because i thought there may be something that he would do, internal bra or something to hold it up better, but he says its fine as it is xx
