    Hi

I have my consultation with Mr Traynor tomorrow and hoping to book for either the 12th/13th December. However, i’m a little worried with it been so close to Christmas. I would book time off work so that’s not an issue but I have two kids and whilst I’ll have help with them I would hate to not be able to enjoy Christmas Day or the run up to Christmas with them. Realistically how many days/weeks before I felt okay to do normal stuff again?

    Thanks in advance

I’m 3DPO and I can’t imagine being able to do anything remotely normal anytime soon ???? x

Hi @amberjade91. At 2wpo I was feeling normal again and able to do things like drive and lift my arms above my head. I think you’ll be fine as long as you don’t push yourself too hard x

Hi amber I’m 18 dpo now and I’m ok was back to work after 11 days and no longer taking any pain killers. I’d agree with Lydia that it will be roughly 2 weeks until you feel ‘normal’ again. I still get the odd twinges and morning boob (stiff rock solid and aching) I’d get all your xmas shopping and wrapping done before your op !!! Xx
