Dr Linda Fiumara has anybody had her for surgery?

Had my consultation in Cardiff with Linda thought she was lovely and really honest with her opinion definitely knows what she’s talking about. But has anybody had her for surgery and happy/not happy with their results?

Hi Sarah I had her last Saturday and she’s so lovely you just instantly trust her. She specialises in natural looking boobs so she will only go to a size that suits your body! I’m happy so far with my results although I’m waiting till I’m 6 weeks and in proper clothes to properly judge as they’ve got a lot of changing to do.

Everyone that I spoke to before surgery that had Linda all say good thing but I’ve never really heard anything bad about any of the surgeons! If you have any questions let me know

Ahh did you?! How are you feeling?. Yeah I got that impression from her she advised me not to go too big as I’ve got a small frame I told her I want to go to a c/d cup she said she would put the 275cc in if she could. I just wondered if anyone else had her as I know she’s fairly new to mya isn’t she? Where did you have the surgery if you don’t mind me asking

I’m ok I had unders so it’s quite a long process recovering but I think that she chose te right size implant for me, I’m sure I’ll get boob greed at some point but I’d trust her judgement. I had my op done at Fitzroy London. Once you start speaking to people who had had Linda it really reassures you! I haven’t uploaded a picture yet but I will do later x

Did either of you have an over night stay?

I stayed overnight as they said that would be best as I was so small kinda thing and the nurses were so so nice! I didn’t really sleep much but you have a tv plus your phone and the nurses keep coming in to check on you and they’re all chatty and happy to help. I was let out at 10 the next morning but I was so comfy I would of been happy to stay haha x

Oh that’s good! Haha I’ve seen some people saying not to bother staying over night they have advised me too. Have you been managing to do much or has it been to painful? X

I would just listen to what they say! Well I struggled a bit, first few days I was fine pain wise but just couldn’t move much and then day 3-7 I had really bad shooting pains and felt pretty deflated just cause I felt like I was the only one having pain as everyone on here seems to bounce back but today I finally feel normal! But the most important thing is I now have boobs

Mine was a day case but was there for 12 hours. I had overs and my recovery has been great. Doesn’t even feel like I’ve had it lol. Had a week off work but was really tired so had about 10 days off instead xx

I wish I had the recovery of overs Jodie!! I was thinking I’m being a complete wimp

It was really easy lol. Still get the odd shooting pains but hardly anything really xx

Oh god do because mine will be unders I’m not going to have the quick recovery then! Glad your both healing ok hope it goes quick for me I’m thinking of having around ten days off fingers crossed I’ll be ok then! What sort of things do you think I should take with me and will deffo need? And how did you feel coming out of surgery? Sorry girls I’m full of questions x

Mine was a bit longer recovery but don’t be put off by it like any pain I have had had been bearable and I’m day 8 today and feel normal again! As I said everyone’s different people on here have had unders and are back to normal after a few days, just listen to your body :)!
The only thing that I have relied on is my v shape pillow it’s amazing and I’ve had no problems sleeping. youll need sports bras, easy to put on clothes (I’ve lived in trackies I can’t wait to make an effort again!!), straws to drink with and you’ll need some senokot as codeine seems to have that effect on everyone haha. I found this forum so useful before my surgery just read through at everyone’s tips. Also Dr Fiumara doesn’t use strappjng for unders shell out you macom chest band but they provide you with that – I woke up so confused cause I didn’t have strappjng on but looking at everyone’s experience with getting blisters etc I think we’re lucky not to be strapped up!

Yeah I have been super nosey looking through and your right everybody’s experience seems to be different. What’s the chest band for then? X

Hey @SARAH I have Dr Fiumara too, surgery booked for the 25th April. I have heard nothing but good things about her and to be honest initially I wasn’t sure if I was happy with the implant size she’s giving me but I just think it’s best to trust her… She’s the expert at the end of the day. Because I have very little breast tissue she said she doesn’t know which she will be able to fit in until I’m in surgery but she’s ordered 300 / 325 / 350 so I just have to wait and see !!

@LAURA ahh have you so exciting! Mines not until May 23rd. Yeah I felt abit disappointed when she offered me 250 I preferred the 275 and even the 300 but she said that because I have a small frame she wouldn’t go too big but I do think she was more keen on the 250-275 if she could put the bigger one in she would, thing is I’ve waited so long to have them done I don’t want to be disappointed with them.

Hiya @sarah-88 I’m 3 days post op with Dr Fiumara. She is amazing! She is so lovely and deffo knows her stuff. I’ve added a few pics if you want to add me. I had 275cc unders, high profile.
I stayed over night as she strongly reccomended it. I’m so glad I did as I struggled to get up even shuffle up a bed – was so frustrating but nurses and staff there at Fitzroy were fab! Food was lovely as well. I found post op day 2 was horrendous but just gotta keep up with all the tablets. Pod3 today, still lots of pressure but easier to get up by myself. Wish I could fast forward this bit. Xxx

Congratulations @lucylouise92 exciting times for you! Aww I’m hearing really good things about Linda makes me even more excited! Ahh that’s exactly what I think I’ll be having too! I’m glad your stay was good! I’m abit of a home bird if I can go Home i do haha but I do think it’s best to stay just incase! She dosent do strapping does she? Hope you heal quick I think I’ll be the sane wanting to fast forward it! Xx

@SARAH I know what you mean but I guess you just have to trust your surgeon. If your after the natural look like me then I don’t think we wil be disappointed. I’m just trying not to stress and think that as long as I have boobs at the end of it I’ll be happy ! 😉
Very exciting stuff, also try not to over read the forum as you do tend to get boob envy of those post op !
And I’ve noticed from this forum that even if girls have the same size implant they never look the same on different people so don’t look at it too literally.

Thank you @sarah-88 🙂 I normally get home sick and was dreading staying over night, but people there were soooo lovely and made me feel really welcomed 🙂 I was so chilled out And comfy!
No, she doesn’t do strapping, just the chest strap. Thanks Hun 🙂 xxx
