So I had my consultation with Dr Mahdi at Manchester yesterday but when I have my op it will be at Preston.. anyone had theirs there? He gave me 3 sizes to choose from so I haven’t not decided 100% yet, but I’ll probably go for the bigger size, wearing a B cup now so hopefully it will take me to a D,
Also do you find out on the day what your admission time is??? And is it true that if you don’t stay in the hospital over night you must stay in a nearby hotel for 24hrs before you head home???? Thanks xxx

    Good luck Steph ?
I would go for the biggest he’s offering. If your body can take, you can take it too and you’ll get bigger change and this is the point of the operation ?

They sent me the admission time 2 days before the surgery. There’s no point to know it earlier anyway.
They want you to stay nearby in case of any complications after the surgery. I travelled to London from a far north of Scotland yesterday, stayed overnight in the hotel, going for my op in 40 mins, staying in the hotel this night too and travelling back tomorrow afternoon.

I’ve just been looking and was thinking the ibis looks the closest to the hospital, I haven’t got an exact date yet but hoping the end of April, need to sort holidays out at work, do you have a week or 2 weeks off??? I’m currently a 32B and he offered me 300-325 or 350, which will take me to a D cup, think I’ll go for the 350 to be honest. You will have to keep ya updated on your op! Not long away is it.. exiting xxx

I had my Op in Preston! I got my admission time on the Monday as my op was on the Saturday. I live in Yorkshire, but they just let me go home after my op, nobody mentioned a hotel! I was first admission at 8am for the surgery at 9 and left at about 3 xx

Ahhh my boyfriend cannot get the day after my op off work as he has used all his holidays so wasn’t sure if he could just drive me back home the same day, suppose it all depends on admission time. Xx

I know I’m obsessed with checking on here to see if anyone has uploaded photos haha. I wasn’t sure if my boyfriend could drive me back home the same day but I think they advise you to stay over night incase of any complications, xxx

I had my operation in Preston – on the day they asked me where I would be staying that night and they were happy for me to travel for anything up to 90 minutes away from the hospital. I booked the Ibis for the night before my surgery in case I had an early admission time (I found out my admission time 3 days before) and I’m glad I did as I had to be at the hospital for 8am.

I also had Mr Mahdi in Preston I was given my admission time the week before. I stayed in a premier inn the night before and after as my admission time was 8am and luckily I was first down to surgery at about 9. They did ask me if I was travelling back home (just over 2 hours) but wasn’t advised not too I just think it was incase I had any complications over night.
