Hi girls, I’m 1 week PO today and had my dressings off, nurse said I’m heeling well and no further dressings needed. Since this morning my right Breast where the stitches are had been nothing but pain.. has anybody else had this problem or got any advice on what to do?
@kirstyj hi Kirsty, having only just seen your nurse I can’t imagine there’s anything to worry about I.e infection etc, perhaps the dressing snagged the stitches and just aggravated them a bit when she took them off? Mine were a bit stingy after the nurse took the plasters off at one week. Hold a mirror underneath and keep an eye on them and note any changes. If they worsen or don’t improve within a couple of days I would give your nurse a call, hope this helps xxx
