    Hi everyone!

I was just woundering if anyone new how long after your BA you have to wait before you can get an all over spray tan?

Im going away in late aurgust and having my BA done on the 3rd June! not long now!

Ive stopped using my fake tan now so hopefully i will have nothing on my skin for the BA!

    Any ideas?

    hey hun

I think you will be ok to have a spray tan once the bandages are all off, but you will have to cover the scars for at lest 6weeks after or until they are fully healed. Also if your going away remember you need to keep the scars covered in the sun or they could go red and not fade properly. I’m gonna be in same postion as you to as I’m having ba 3rd july and going away mid august so I’ll be covering up. I really wana be able to sunbathe topless but I’m not risking my scars going red. Just think how amazing you’ll look in a bikini though!! xxx

I asked my patient co-ordinator that i was going away in late August and she said that that would be fine, she told me it can take up to 6weeks for the swelling to go down but not to let direct sunlight on my scars untill they are fully healed, as it will make the scars heal pinker if you understand what i mean ha.

Hello Amy again….its emma!! Fake tan… well dont apply 7 days before your op. you know i had implants 10 years ago and was told not to expose the new boobs too soon. I went on a sunbed after 2 weeks (after op) but wrapped a beach towel around my self covering my boobs. If you go abroad then this is another problem. I would not go in the sun with new boobs especially around the scar area. It has to be fully covered and a sports bra must be worn for 6weeks (edited as I said 12 weeks by mistake) . Dont consider a night out within this time without the bra on as it is really not recommended neither is a bikini in the sun (you need to cover the full bust). I had no problems for 10 years …I went on sunbeds after 2 weeks but covered up . You pay so much for the new boobs its so important to stick to what they say. With Tanning never expose your scars to UV for a while. emmaxx

    Hi Emma!

I spoke to Dr Adamo when i had my consultation and told him i was going away and he said that its fine to wear abikini top as long as you dont expose the scars.

He also told me that you only had to wear a sports bra for only 6weeks?

    Now im confused  ???????

Amy, I’m a spray tan therapist and to be honest, nobody should spray you until the scars are completely healed, by the sound of your dates, you should be ok, but also remember that the tan probably wont cover the scars, ( colour match wise)

    HI Chelsea!

I got 525cc overs which has taken me from a 34C to a 34F/FF :) and i love them! They have completely healed and look so natural, at first i thought they looked like to footballs stuck to my chest ha but after a week the swelling has completely gone and they look and feel amazing! i stopped taken my pain killers only 3days after my BA!
