I no I’m only 2DPO but I’m feeling so low right now. The pain is just getting worse and the hospital only gave me paracetamol. Luckily I got tramadol off a friend but now that’s not even helping.

When I was at the hospital they looked massive I was so pleased and now when I look down I feel like my size hasn’t even changed 🙁 with all this strapping and the Macom on top they look tiny. I’m really hoping they’re just being squashed right now. I really can’t wait until Friday to get this strapping off. It’s so disheartening to look at.

The only thing getting me through at the moment is my boyfriend who’s actually been amazing support and keeps telling me off for picking at the strapping lol.

Which day did you ladies start to feel a bit more human? Sorry for going on xxx

Aww Hannah it will be worth it in the end. I was pretty much back to normal by 5DPO only felt heavy and tight around my boobs but no pain. The strapping looks awful from the pics I’ve seen, I didn’t have that. I’m sure once it’s off you’ll feel like a new woman.
I’m 25DPO now and mine just feel like part of me. They are still quite hard and high but I have no aches or pains at all anymore.
Keep going you’ll get there in the end. Try to do stuff that takes your mind off them so that you can lift your spirits a little until the big reveal… good luck xxx

@kellywild1983 thanks Kelly, I keep telling myself that it’s the strapping causing the most pain as it’s so tight!

Oh I can’t wait to be 25DPO :). When did you stop taking pain relief, do you remember? I think it’s worse as I’ve had no sleep either so I’m turning grumpy lol. Xxx

The strapping is definitely the worst.
The same as you, my boyfriend keeps telling me to stop picking at the it. Just can’t help it when you really want to see what they look like and to draw up a real comparison between your before boobs and now.
How comes I only gave you paracetamol?

I stopped taking pain relief after two days as I wasn’t in any pain just felt really uncomfy and only had any pain when moving about.
The more I got up and walked around the easier things got. I had a lot of trouble with my back through sorting on bed for long periods which is what bothered me most.
I was told I could lie flat on my back at my one week post op appointment and that made such a difference.
Just rember that every day gets easier and keep having a little walk around try to do things that aren’t strenuous just to keep moving. Don’t do too much though. Listen to your body.
I did things like feeding the fish in the pond in my garden; washing dishes in the sink; folding clothes from the tumble dryer- although I got my fella to get them out.
Over the first week I started to be able to to do more and more and it took my mind off my boobs.
Sending you hugs and luck xx

@reanneh I know I want to look so bad, but it’s so tight and itchy! I feel dirty. I’m allergic to codeine so can’t have that, but the paracetamol did nothing! X

yeah the back pain is unreal ATM, can’t wait to sleep on my back fully. Thanks Hun, I’m trying to keep moving. I’m meant to go out tonight for a meal for my boyfriends dads birthday but I feel so bad, I think it’s going to be to much :(. Xx

No I took mine off at 48 hours as I was moving about a lot by then. I can’t see why they wouldn’t let you take ibuprofen if you want to. They have me that and paracetamol to take home with me and o was taking ibuprofen from my very first night x

Yes definitely I would just call her up and explain how you feel she was very nice , the number is :-
    0345 270 2173

I would get her say so before taking nurofen as it’s all depending on individual needs but worth a call. I was allowed to take my tights off when walking about but must wear at night for min 7 days , deep vein can happen up to a week if you are sitting long periods after surgery .

    I had 375cc HP . Xx
