Feeling so dissapointed

So I had my surgeon consultation with Dr Fiumara today and I feel so gutted to say the least. I need to have a full anchor uplift which I expected to hear anyway but she also said the biggest she can go with the implants is 275cc maybe 300cc unders as my skin is very soft and loose. I am now a B cup with some fair amount of breast tissue but Im also quite saggy with no upper fullness after having kids. I was hoping for a full DD cup but since uplift can take away a bit of a cup and 275cc unders usually come up quite small especially as they go under the muscle I dont think I will be able to achieve the look I wanted. Im quite torn and not sure whether to go ahead with the surgery. If any of you ladies had 275cc unders and/or started off with some breasts to begin with would you mind sharing pics so I can see what to expect ? Any other advice would also be appreciated xx

Thanks for your reply Gina! I was hoping my option would be a mini uplift like yours instead of the full anchor but Dr Fiumara thinks my skin is way too lose to make it work without having the full uplift and ultimately my results wouldnt be that great. I trust her judgement but youre right, perhaps I should see another surgeon and see what they think. Would you be able to share your before and after picture by any chance?

Hi! Dr Fiumara was my surgeon too! I only had a standard BA though. I was meant to get anything between 275-325cc but on the day she said I’m very skinny on my chest and didn’t want to implant to be visible at the top so she went ahead with 275cc. I am so glad she did as I am very pleased with my results, I was aiming for a natural looking C cup.I know she is very conscious and will aim for the most natural results. She also wouldn’t advise anything that would risk any sort of complications, her stitching is also so neat! I attach some pictures for you. I know my case is not the same as yours but I hope this will help 🙂 I was a 32A, 5’7 and 58kg and I’m now a 32D. good luck with your op! xx

Thank you for your reply Diana ! Your results look really good very natural looking!!! Yes I agree, Dr Fiumara explained that she wouldnt go bigger than 275cc/300cc on me as this may cause further problems and result in having further surgery and probably another uplift sooner rather than later and I definietely wouldnt want that.

Yes definitely go for another opinon! I will search my husbands phone but dont think he has the before pics on there anymore. Let me try get an after pic from 2years po..

Your boobs look fab Gina! full yet subtle looking if that makes sense, I would be v happy if mine turned out like this. All I want really is more volume on top and rounder shape, so if I get that then I wouldnt be bothered whether theyre DD cup or smaller.. I like the look of your scars also, can just about see tiny white line when I look closely.. How long did it take for them to fade ?

So I am 2 weeks post op!

Before I was a saggy 32B/C! From breastfeeding 2 kids they were like snooker balls in socks! I had mr Giannas not with Mya though and so far it’s been amazing…

I got away with the lollipop lift but I wouldn’t have minded the anchor lift (Giannas said we didn’t need to do this and could save in the bottom scar)! He said he would put in up to 300 however, I used to be bigger and used to have bigger boobs and I wasn’t a fan of them! So I decided to go for 220/240 over the muscle to correct asymmetry , Giannas thought this was a good choice.

2 weeks post op and all my bandages are off and they look amazing! My scars are literally barely there. I’m currently wearing a 34D sports bra and the twins are snug in there! They are so much bigger than I thought they would be!!!

With all the research I had done before (online all hours like a loonatic) I decided that it’s a game changer when you start off with boob the implants always go further so don’t underestimate the smaller implants!

I saw about 4 surgeons before I decided to go ahead so worth getting some other opinions….for me I didn’t want to risk paying all that money, for them to sag again with the weight of a heavy implant! I’m just so pleased to have boobs where they should be again!!

My first consultation I got told I needed a full anchor lift and he said he would not go ahead without one. I expected it and was pretty gutted but if that’s what I needed I was going to get it. I went for a second consultation about getting full lift with implants. Second surgeon advised just getting implants so I ended up going with him. Just because I felt a lot more comfortable with him. I had 275cc Hp round implants dual plane technique. No lift. I’m 5 ft1 about 7 st 2 and was a saggy delflated 32b/c cup. Got measured at 12 weeks and I’m now a 30e. Before after pics

I follow her instagram account which is worth having a look at ???? you may find someone similar and their results on there. I’m going with Dr Giannitrapani but based on her photos I think she would be my other choice!

Hi Emma I have been to my consultation and been told the same as you were. Can I ask which surgeon you went to? He suggested I needed uplift with 275s partially behind muscle. I am very similar frame to you with a very empty 32 c currently.
