I had my surgery 4 and a half weeks ago and the past few days I’ve been feeling really tired. I’m still really tight and feeling restricted and generally a bit down about the whole thing. I’ve seen so many horror stories on google around breast implant Illness and almost gotten into my head that this tiredness is due to that. Has anyone else experienced tiredness around 4 weeks after their op? Did it go away? X

    Hey Fay!

I can understand your worries, however there could be SO many reasons for your tiredness. It’s got darker recently, less sunlight hours and maybe due to your BBA you might not be going out as much as you use too? I had similar symptoms and went to the GP and found out I had vitamin D deficiency. Similarly, b12 and iron deficiency are all so common and very undiagnosed which causes tiredness. Another one to mention which causes tiredness is stress and anxiety. Please don’t worry, get yourself to the GP for a blood test, and I advise you stop reading about breast implant illness it will make you worse. I personally don’t believe in the illness Xxx

    Hi Ashleigh, thanks for responding!
I know it probably is nothing, I have been going out quite a lot although not as full on as I usually would so maybe it’s that I’m not giving myself enough time to recover.
Can I ask why you don’t believe in BII? So many stories on the internet about women’s symptoms going away immediately after explanation make me believe that it is real xx
