Hey guys. Is there anyone who can give me some advice about finance? I have my e consultation this coming Wednesday and I’ve been accepted for finance but is there an option to pay £500 deposit and then the rest monthly payments? As I can afford that deposit right now but anything higher I haven’t got saved up and I’m better off paying more monthly. Can someone help me? Does the finance team give you multiple options? Any advice will be much appreciated xxx

Hey hun, did you apply for the finance before your consultation? I had mine today, so with the finance have to pay 50% I think however it’s a £750 deposit to secure the date then the rest can be paid 5 weeks before your surgery, the rest will be finance for monthly payments, or you. Can have loan with another bank tjj in pay the extra deposit that you may lack
Was it hard to get the finance I need to apply but waiting to have my second appointment with surgeon xxxx

Hey! I did, they got back to me today and gave me a plan – I’m waiting to see what options I have on my e consultation. I applied last Sunday and they emailed me back today with the decision. I just had to give them some info on where I work etc and give them permission to perform a credit check and stuff! So was pretty straight forward xxxx

What option did they give you for finance? Or do they just let you know if you’d be eligible then you sort it out once had consultations? I MM waiting for my second consultation didn’t know when I need to apply as dont want to sign for the loan before speaking with surgeon if that makes sence xx

As far as I’m aware you can apply for it at any point leading up to your surgery. I just wanted to know whether I’d be accepted or not rather than just taking out a really large loan. They gave me a fixed option with deposit of about 3,700 – so I’m just going to see what other options I have at my e consult! I haven’t signed for anything yet I’ve asked if there’s any alternatives to that one xx

Ohhhh okay I didn’t realise could do that so if you changed your mind now would you be able to as you havnt signed anything Youv just seen if your eligible for it?
Sorry about questions Iv been confused about how it works I’d rather try to see if I can be accepted than wait and find out I can’t so I may try aslong as it don’t sign me up xxxx

Jessica did I read that right your deposit is over 3k?
What are they charging for the surgery?
I had thought that most credit worked like you said small deposit then a plan over so many months, 24-36 etc didn’t know the deposit could vary so much

Yes deposit is over 3,000. The total charge is over 5k. Do you have an idea of what other plans they do? X
