Hi girls I’m a little bit confused, I’m looking to get finance but not with MYA cause the interest rates are quite high about 19%, on zopa it’s 5%, i was just wondering has anyone else did finance through another company how does it work? I’m looking to book my surgery this week or next for jan after having my consultation last Saturday with Mr Mashhadi xx

Yh I did mine with my bank. So the bank gave me the lump sum. So I paid my surgery outright with company. Now I pay the bank loan on a monthly basis. X x x

Ah really? That sounds like the best option! How long did it take for your bank to pay you the sum? What happens once you’ve got the money do you pay it straight to MYA? Xx

I went on Expedia the credit rating company and they give you a list of companies you can use and the percentage of how likely you are to get accepted. I have a bad credit score so my dad did it for me. There’s one that automatically accepts you all u have to do is accept it. It has a tick next to it. It’s good too the interest isn’t that high

I’m paying monthly for mine and yeah you can pay it straight away. I’m not with Mya but I paid my deposit with my surgeon and then just the rest of it after. I had mine in the savings just so I didn’t touch it. I didn’t wanna pay it all at once just in case so I waited but you can pay it all.

I’m not with mya. I didn’t have to put a deposit just literally had to pay balance off week before surgery. Yh as soon as it was accepted I had money within a few days. I got bf to do it for me cause I’m at uni so don’t get classed as working even though I do have the funds x x. X

Hello girls, so I could get a bank loan to help pay for my surgery? Xx

I got my loan using the Experian website as I have a dreadful credit rating and they were able to guarantee before I applied that I would be approved by certain companies. I only booked my surgery 17 days before the actual date and so I needed to pay up front in full at the time of making the booking. The money was in my bank within a matter of minutes when I completed my application and it was very easy. Now I’m just paying it back by direct debit every month.
