First consultation

Going for my first PC consultation at the Newcastle surgery on Saturday. Just wondering if anyone has been here and also do I need to take anything with me besides questions i want to ask. Ive heard you should take a sports bra as I will be trying different sizes but not sure if this is at the second consultation with the surgeon?

Hi Alisia, I went to the Manchester office and my first consultation just consisted of talking through things with my PC. It was at the next consultation with the surgeon where I tried on different sizes using the sports bra they provided.

Hi Alisia, I had my first consultation at Newcastle with Julie a few weeks ago. She just discusses why you want it and what you are hoping to achieve. She’ll then recommend a surgeon or give you a choice based on what you are after. It’s when you meet the surgeon that you get to try on the sizes.. I’m still waiting for my second consultation on the 24th June, I’m seeing Dr mahdi. Hope that helps! X

It’s just over a month from my first to my second consultation. Which I don’t find too long. I’m not sure if he’s based there, think I read somewhere that he also covers Manchester. It might have been quicker with the other surgeons but he’s the one Julie recommended to me based on the look i want to achieve. Xx
