@nicola7947 , good luck tomorrow, Mr Traynor is fantastic … All you need is bra for after surgery, I took slippers and a dressing gown to walk down to surgery as the gowns are open back… They will give you surgical stockings and paper pants!!! Not attractive at all…. Take something to occupy you, you may have a bit of a wait, a bobble for long hair..loose clothing for travelling home and the best advice, if you are travelling as a passenger in a car, take a padded cushion / pillow to put against your seat belt on your newbies, it helps immensely with the pot holes !!! Good luck, best decision I’ve ever made ?? xx

@nicola7947 hope surgery had gone well ??. I am fully recovered now, dropped and fluffed as much as I will, it wasn’t easy, I had issues with incisions healing and one now is perhaps wider than it should Of been, but I did everything I should, so it is what it is, the op was great, was nervous on the day off, but surgery was a breeze, took it easy for a week or so, but had to do the school run etc, wasn’t comfortable driving for a good 3 or 4 weeks, another tip, if you do drive, take the cushion / pillow and put behind your back, eases the pain of putting into 5th / 6th gear and reverse!! I was off meds by about day 5, but watch out for the constipation, get some mild laxatives, you will probably need them!! Keep active, don’t be completely bed ridden, as it will prolong recovery, a little at a time and ease back in to every day live…. Stay sleeping upright as long as you can, I did the full six weeks, get a travel pillar for your next, made the world of difference for me…….Happy healing and enjoy the new additions !!! Xx
