@josoap this was the one thing that made me emotional lol. The fact my hair looked a mess, my 12 year old daughter was a god send, I knelt in the bath and she washed my hair gently with the shower head, dry shampoo was my friend to lol. That first proper shower and hair wash you can do yourself after your seven day check up is amazing xx

It’s the worst feeling ever not being able to do my hair…
Dry shampoo I don’t think will work because it so greasy lol – have to be a hat all the way until 7 day appointment..
How was the pain with U?xx

I had pain till around day five but I had unders which are supposed to be a bit more painful recovery wise, it was my emotions really which shocked me, I put it down to tiredness and feeling helpless and reliant on my partner and daughter lol, we had complete role reversal for the first week. I’m much better now at two weeks po. I’d do it all again though definitely, I love my new boobs 🙂 xx

Just waiting to be discharged. I’m glad I washed my hair on the day of the surgery. Hopefully when the pain dies down a bit my mum can wash my hair for me as I hate the idea of greasy hair! I too had unders and uplift but it’s my back that’s bothering me more oddly! How are you feeling now Kelly? Xx

I managed to wash my hair 4 days post op as was allowed to shower after surgery as had waterproof dressings on. I wore button up shirts, zip ups and button pj tops until 4 days post op. After that I managed to get jumpers on and off even though I was still restricted some xx

If you call your local hair dresses I bet they can fit you in for a blow dry that would make you feel better abit of pampering! Thats what I’m planning on around day 3 x

Your hair is actually extra greasy as a side effect of surgery. I had a friend wash mine day 5 and I managed to wash it myself day 8 but honestly me personally I couldn’t even touch my head until then and even then it was more me leaning my head into my strong hand lol. You’ll get there just shove it up in a bun let it be greasy. You need to stay home and rest and recover anyway no one to impress x

I had wash and blowdry at salon. I had unders and couldnt hold hair dryer/straighteners for long enough as my hair is very long x
