So my op is just over 2 weeks away. 7th Nov. So getting sorted now. Feeling too real now!! So far I’ve got on order:

    *Macom bra in medium
*2x shock absorber classic D+ bras (not sure which size)
    *Foam Bed wedge
    *4x ice packs & covers

    Yet to get
    *a v pillow
    *comfy support pillows
    * front fastening clothes. Also thinking I’ll need some loose fitting t shirt type tops for when I’m back at work. Might be a Primark / matalan trip!

I’m considering a Royce silver post op bra too.
Very confused with post op bras though. Hard buying a bra without the boobs yet! Read so many conflicting reviews. My surgeon (not MYA) said “any comfortable lycra bra that provides firm yet gentle support”. Goodness knows which to buy, it’s mind boggling which is why I’ve gone for the Macom & shock absorbers for now. Will look at some in store I think at M&S and matalan.

    Anything else I’m missing??

Hey, straws have been a huge help so I don’t have to lift bottles and mugs to drink. Get more ice packs than you think you need. Also wipes are great to clean up while you can’t shower. Xx

Tbh I had a list of things I was gonna by including pillows arnica tablets (which I brought n never used) n I was fine with couple of extra normal pillows 1 sports bra 1 Macom n that’s it, I wouldn’t waste your money too much, I had partials I could lift a kettle I used my foot to open the oven door for couple days but that was it, wasn’t anywhere near as bad as I thought it would be, obviously for a couple days it’s uncomfortable to reach high etc but I even moved everything out of my cupboards up top that I might need n ended up putting it all back after 2 days, Just avoided hoovering n strenuous things to clean the bath I just put bleach round it left it for an hour n showered it off rather than leaning in the bath but basic things your be fine with xx
