Given up on finance.. going for MYA piggy bank scheme

I just cant get finance at all to pay for me to have a BA, they keep saying i need a guarantor so ive given up! I have my first consultation at newcastle on 7th may and ive decided to go for the MYA piggy bank savings scheme, hoping to put away 200-300 per month then hopefully i can have my procedure done this time next year. i hate waiting but in this case its going to have to be done

Anyone else doing this option? x

Hey Hun, I’m using mya piggybank too. I’ve been for my first consultation and have my consultation with the surgeon on may 28th

I have to take a 400 depoist then I will set a date for next year seems so far away but will be worth it in the end!

What clinic did you go to n what surgeon have you got xxx

Mines in a separate savings account so I don’t touch it Hun but I’ll prob be joinin the booby club aroi d the same time as you girls unless a nice family member wants to give or lend me the money lol X

I was thinking early July, then I will have boobies for a hoilday & for my birthday ha!

A lottery win would be great but it’s not gona happen though lol! I’ll be putting any birthday and Xmas money away aswel, when did you two start Savin n how much have you got? I started putting £20 a wk in and then whenever I check my bank and I’ve got more money I put that in aswel so I’ve got about £550 in about 7/8 wks I think and I was giving my bf £300 for his bday n he said I could have that towards my boobs so that’s helped me loads X

Im hoping maybe May/June next 2012 before it starts getting hot as i dont wanna be sweating with bandages on etc.

It gets me down too! very much! Especially because someone i went to college with has just had hers done 2 weeks ago so it feels real to me now, i actually cried i was that upset (how sad is that!)

MYA piggy bank is basically where u set up a standing order/direct debit for whatever amount for however long of your own money each month. So for example you could save 250 a month for 12 months and you’d have £3000 saved. I know its just the same as plain old saving- but its better if your a spender and you cant resist touching it as MYA keep hold of it so you arent tempted to spend it. Hope this helps… xx

Just wondered if you girls have tried getting an overdraft at bank?? I was refused loans credit cards etc and i went to my bank and asked if i could have an overdraft, they gave me one for £2700 the women in the bank couldnt understand why i was getting refused loans if i could get a high overdraft like that!! Its practically paid for my boobs and i was going to do the piggybank scheme so feel for all you girls, Its worth a shot xx

ive raised £14 hahaha shocking, im getting nowhere…. ive spoke to mya and my dad… just posted a new thread on forum. i dont blame u for crying, ive just been in tears on phone to my dad as it gets me so down, im so boney on top and have no boobs at all and since breat feeding theyve somehow managed to shrink even more (didnt think it was possible given im just a pair of nipples) so i totally undertand how u feel as im in the same boat. ive been thru a bankruptcy, which as u may know is the worst thing for getting credit…. id never get credit, not for 6 years anyway, well 3 now as it was 3 years ago!!! xxxxx

Nope nothing is too little as long as you are putting away money then you are saving, just put away what you can afford and youll be fine xxx
