    Hi ladies,

I’m due for my BA in October. I only have a week off work as I didn’t have enough holidays to take any more time off! I just wanted to know everyone’s personal experience with recovery. I’m going for overs so I know the recovery isn’t as bad as unders.

I work in car sales so i can be fairly active in work when it’s busy but more just a lot of walking around! What’s everyone else been like??

Hi lizzie. I also had overs. I went back to work after 10 days but felt more than able to after about 7 days. I’m sure a week off work will be fine just try not to do any heavy lifting. Xx

No problem. The first 4 days for me were awful. As soon as the painkillers wore off I was in agony. And you just feel restricted because you cant move your arms but day 5 was the turning point for me and I was managing fine on regular paracetamol. I bought a wedge shape pillow which helps to keep you upright when you sleep 🙂 my chest also felt very tight and I felt short of breath because of the pressure and the swelling but that only lasted 2 or 3 days. I’m 5 weeks post OP now and have no pain at all and they are starting to srop on to place and look more natural xx
