I went to turkey 5weeks post op! Unfortunately your not aloud to go in the swimming pool till your past your 6week mark which was so hard for me with having 3 kids who spent a lot of time in the pool. I bought some triangle shaped sports bras with thin shoulder straps and worn them under my swim wear, you can also buy the body control swim suits which have support in. I only changed into these first thing in the morning and in the evening while the kids went in the pool, It was good as we had a tiny shallow pool as well which I could sit in and the water didn’t come up to my boobs so I still got to go in the water lol. After a hour I’d get changed into my sports bra and put on a vest top and shorts, I did sweat a lot over there in the 56degree heat lol but I had to keep these new boobs covered and supported! I bought 2 really nice bright colour sports bras with were nice and supportive to wear under my vest tops just so I didn’t have my mya bra on show all the time.. if u go shopping and find some nice sports bras that have good support which u wouldn’t mind wearing on holiday send photos to your nurse or pc and just check they will be fine to wear but I’m sure they will be fine xx

I’m going on a long haul flight just short of 5 weeks PO. I was told no bikinis for the first 4 weeks and after that should be fine. I didn’t go through MYA but I’ve been told a lot of different things compared to people who do go to MYA even with sleeping etc.. they seem to be quite strict on everything which is probably better in the long run. Enjoy your holiday 🙂

@vickii109 Can I ask where you got your sports bras from for your holiday. I’ve jus booked to go away when I’ll be 8wpo and feel nervous about not wearing a sports bra for support anymore by then xx

Hey Girls, I spoke to the surgeon yesterday before the op and he said i’m fine to fly after two week and just to wear my post op bra at night time and if I can in the day, he told me to get a nice bikini though and just enjoy it! Biggest bit of advise was to keep them out of the sun really xxxx
