Miss Lutz has asked that I buy a “granny bra” rather than post surgery bra, I hear she’s pretty particular about these things, so any pics gratefully received, as no idea what to buy!

She is Lol, I’ve just had my op yesterday, she wasn’t happy that I hadn’t git the granny bra, I’d got a yianna and sports bra from Tesco, which my PC said would be fine but Dr lutz said to get the granny bra asap, oops. What she means is any old fashioned non wired, thick strapped bra from m&s or adds, the old shoulder boulder bra very unattractive. Did she not give you a print out of the one she wants you to get?

I had ms lutz on the 20th dec and I bought a granny bra from marks and Spencer.. buy one to keep her happy but then all il say is oh my god by day 3 was the most bloody uncomfortable think I’ve ever experienced.. the way it sits is literally on the incisions and was so painful I had to sleep with my thumbs under the bra to release the pressure, they also have no stretch wat so ever on the band .. so I then bought the marks and Spencer extra high impact bra with the zip front, most comfortable bra was such a relief putting it in after that awful granny bra!! You may be able to find a better one than I did but just warning not to get the one from marks and Spencer, I think it’s was a post op full support bra Xx

Hi ladies, this is my every day M&S “granny bra!” Not quite as granny as the one in Ms Lutz’s picture, but nevertheless it’s ugly, no wires, no padding and thick straps! 🙂 I think it was around £22. Super comfortable, super soft and sits supportively in all the right places without upsetting my incisions etc xxx

I think I’ve bought the right ones, they say they’ve got side support and have some sort of lacy pattern but generally the shape looks similar to yours. Thank you!

I have one from M&co and Ms Lutz seemed to be happy with it, but i undid it without memorising what setting she had it done up on. Anyone know how damn tight it should be? Like, as tight as possible next to my stitches? Or not?
