    Hi all!

I’m having my operation on Friday (18th) and was wondering if anyone else here has had surgery this month / will be having surgery?

Would be nice to have some people experiencing the same thing to relate to ?

    Hi Shannon,

I had my surgery on the 9th October. Had 350cc implants, over the muscle put in with Dr Mileto. It’s now day 5 and I’m fully mobile, with minimal pain. However, I am still a little sore with the left side, I have my post operative check tomorrow (had to book a day earlier as there were no other available dates). Have to warn you though, those steroids are a menace, talk about bloating. I look 7 months pregnant. ? Good luck with your surgery and let me know if you have any questions. Xx

Heyy Shannon, I had my surgery on the 10th October, had 350cc in left & 395 in my right as it was smaller, Under the muscle. I’m feeling much better today not fully mobile due to my right side still having pain but I have read that it can be down to the fact I’m right handed and the muscle has had less rest. Good luck for Friday! You will love them xx

Thanks so much for the responses!

I’m dreading the bloat ? I’ve read s few things about how bad it can be.

My surgeon recommended a shallow bath for the first 10 days but I dont know how I’m supposed to pull myself out of it!?

I’m starting to feel the nerves about being put to sleep but have to think about how it’s all worth it! X

Hey! I had surgery on Saturday 5th October, not with MYA however. I had 350cc high profile overs.
I am so happy with my results, each day has been a different journey and I have not needed any pain killers for the past 3 days now so all is good. I had my post op yesterday and the nurse was really happy with how I am healing, I am just hoping I don’t lose any of the size I have now because I love them hehe!
The time off work and sitting around eating has definitely taken its toll though! I must have gained about half a stone!! So definitely glad I am more mobile now and looking forward to being able to go back to the gym to start some light walking.

Good luck I hope it goes really well 🙂 x

@josiechan2002 your pic looks great and only 5 days in!!! Glad the tenderness is starting to ease.

What size did you go for & overs or unders? Seems like those with unders take a little longer to heal, understandably..

@josiechan2002 Yours look the perfect size, i’m getting excited seeing your results lol.
    What bras have you used?
I have macoms that a friend gave me, and i bought the post op sports bra one from M&S. I’m thinking the M&S will be way more comfy.
The thought of not showering makes me shivver ?

Hi guys. I was wondering if anyone could help me out regarding under the muscle implants and why use choose then. I’m looking at around a 275cc cause I’m only small and slim. I heard under is more natural but would like to see the difference as there isn’t many pictures out there of what they look like. If anyone could help that would be great.

    Hi Shannon
I bought a few sports bras from M&S
Had lovely gentle shower, only thing that’s been bothering me now is burning pain wear incision is where bra is tight across them.
Nurse phoned me and said it’s quite normal as the incision heal as long as you don’t get any wearing which I haven’t so I’ve put a little padding there which is much better my bras are a D maybe I should have got a bigger one to allow for the swelling. It will be 1week tomorrow since had the op and it’s flown by can’t wait to get driving again I’m going loopy in this house ??

Hey! I had my surgery on Monday (14th) I had 325cc partials from 34aa (super flat). Pain wise I would say there has been some burning sensations around my incision and it comes and goes, but when it comes it reallyyy hurts ! I’m just hoping it gets better with time. Also I’d advise you to have someone look after you, my flatmate is barely home so I dont really have anybody looking after me and it’s caused me to have multiple mental breakdowns trying to get stuff done lol.. Otherwise its all good. Goodluck girl!! xx

@lisa98 my surgeon advised for unders as I’m slim & if my weight was to fluctuate in the future and the skin goes thin you won’t see any rippling.
I’ve found a few people that have unders on ig, I’ll send you their handles!

Hey, I’ve had mine done today with Mr Traynor. I had 350cc high profile overs. I’ve not checked them out yet. Pain is manageable. I went to theatre at 3:30pm and left the hospital to come home at 7:30pm. I’ve had such a lovely chilled out day and thee most amazing ham and cheese panini after being nil by mouth since yesterday evening.

    Hi Shannon,

I’ve not actually had a proper look at them yet. Trying to stick to doctors orders. Recovery wise, I’ve been great actually. They’re still very numb but I can already see that they are gonna look great, I’m so pleased.
