    Hi girls!

I had my surgery yesterday (7th Jan 2019) at MYA Fitzroy in London with Dr. Tsekouras and I thought I would give a run down of how the day went!

I had 350cc HP partials from an empty 34B. This was the maximum that my body would take and it was a push which explains the extra pain I’m in today. He almost chose to use the 325cc’s he also ordered!

My admission time was 07.30am. We parked in a secure Car Park called Bucklebury Car Park which is a quick 6 minute walk away from MYA Fitzroy and out of the congestion charge zone. It’s open 7am-8pm and it cost me £19 for the day. Other car parks in the zone which were only a minute or 2 closer cost between £34-£50 for the day plus a congestion charge of around £11.50. I got to the Fitzroy at 07.15am and was in my own room by 07.30am! I got changed into my gown, sexy stockings and beautiful baggy paper panties and was urine tested for pregnancy! I then had my obs checked, signed all the pre op paperwork and was seen by the anaesthetist! Very shortly after, Dr. Tsekouras came in to do his doodles on me and told me that he will see me upstairs in theatre! I was 1st on the list and I was on my way to theatre at 08.45am!

Walking in to theatre and seeing so many people prepping for my op is what made all the nerves kick in. It all of a sudden felt so real that I was going under the knife. The anaesthetist was very efficient and the lady holding my hand as I went under was lovely! It took the anaesthetist a couple of goes to find a vein in my hand as they’re covered in tattoos and we had a little laugh about how it was my fault it’s taking so long haha! He put a few drugs in to my hand and then told me he will be putting in the one that puts me to sleep. I kid you not, he hasn’t even finished putting it in and I was starting to go. I couldn’t believe how quickly I was under! I started waking up at a few minutes past 11am. It took me a while to be able to physically speak again. I couldn’t believe how groggy I was (never been under or had an op before) I tried to look down as they were putting my post surgery bra on but I was still fairly out of it and couldn’t see.
I have so much strapping on which can’t be removed until my post op appointment on the 15th, so I won’t see them properly until then, boo! The strapping is so tight and it’s pointing my boobs straight forward but I don’t mind. It’s there’s to keep everything in place as they start to settle even if it is quite uncomfortable.

I was brought back to my room at 11.25am where I was quite tearful. I was very emotional and I couldn’t understand why I was crying, but it turns out a lot of people get tearful after having anaesthetic!

Shortly after getting back to my room I tried sipping some water and all of a sudden I felt very sick and every one commented on how pale I was. I tried to be sick but I just couldn’t. After some tea and toast I felt a bit better but the sicky feeling came and went over the next few hours. I was regularly checked on by the nurses who were super super lovely! They were chatty, funny and very attentive! I didn’t need to ask much of them and when I did they were very quick to help me.

My surgeon was very busy doing ops all day so I didn’t see him until around 6pm to get the all clear to leave. I had my medicine given to me and explained etc and off I went. I was expecting to be out earlier than this but I wasn’t too bothered. I was only a 6 minute walk from the car but as soon as I was outside and started to shiver, it killed the muscles in my chest so I went back inside whilst my partner grabbed the car and brought it round to the doors. After 6pm there is no congestion charges in the zone so that made things cheap and easy! We finally set off at 7pm. I had one of the pillows from my bed inbetween me and the seatbelt to make it more comfortable and in case of any sudden braking.

Anyone hoping to park further away and get the tube in, I don’t recommend it. Finding a seat on the tube would be a struggle and the just thought of trying to hold on whilst standing up hurts! Depending on your admission time, if you need a 24hr car park I would definitely pay extra to be closer and not get public transport.

My first night has been a bit rough to be honest. I’m currently in quite a bit of pain in spite of taking as much painkillers as I’m allowed to. Hopefully this gets better soon as it’s quite a struggle at the moment. I was told I’d be in extra pain due to the 350cc implants only just fitting in. My anatomy meant this was the biggest I could physically go and I’m fine with that. I know once these settle and take shape over the next few months I’ll have the lovely boobies I always dreamed of ?

    Items I took with me:

PJs incase I needed to stay over.
    Post op bras
    Zip up hoody
Loose jeans (tried leggings, too hard to pull up)
    Water bottle with straw
    Underwear
    Baby wipes
    Roll on deodorant
    Phone charger
Bit of make up to make myself feel a bit better afterwards
    Mouthwash
    Hand sanitizer
    Purse

If you have a later admission time, or like me, had to wait around longer afterwards, I’d recommend taking a book or magazine.

I hope this helps anyone that’s waiting for their surgery.

    Soph ? xx

Love reading new surgery stories! Congrats and glad you had a good experience! It drove me mad the strapping! had it on 5 days and had to ask my surgeon to take it off as it was pulling so much turned out I had a slight reaction to the adhesive but was more interested in seeing the new girls than worrying about anything else haha hope you have a speedy recovery! Enjoy the resting time! Xx

Thank you for the well wishes everyone! I can’t work out how to respond to people individually and tag people in my reply. Becca & Jenna, reading your stories in the run up to mine made me so excited and helped me with a lot of my worries so thank you for that! I hope this run down helps those waiting for theirs. Xx

Thank you Becca! It’s early days but I have a good feeling about them. Roll on getting this strapping off though. Xx
Monica, Yeah I think you do but if you tell them you should be able to wear your pad with them. I think you just get told you can’t use tampons. I don’t even think you would need to tell them. They have no business being in that area so they shouldn’t even notice xx

Congratulations on your surgery! I had my surgery on Monday with Dr Tsekouras as well, we may have been in rooms near to each other ☺️ I was in room 7!
I feel so sorry for how long you had to wait. I was admitted at 9am and I still wasn’t allowed to leave until 7pm. I thought that was pretty bad, but now that I’ve heard your story, I shouldn’t really complain!
Have you taken your surgery bra off yet? I’m a bit scared to as I don’t have all the strapping and I think it might hurt.
Also, has anyone else been getting a really numb bum? I’ve been walking around as much as possible but I’m still aching from sitting down so much ?

    Hey Jessica!

I was in room 5 so I was very close by to you! I’ve taken it off to have a look. I need to take it off to change into a fresh one to help me feel cleaner today though. What implants and position did you have? I thought he put this strapping on everyone. I can’t wait for it to come off! Definitely struggling with the bum issue! I can’t get comfy as I’ve broken my coccyx in the past so can’t sit down for long and now I can’t stand up for long either haha! Xx

Oh yeah, very close 😀 Yeah I think I need to change mine, I might get my mum to help me change it later.
No, I don’t have any strapping, I just have thin bandages and then my bra on top.
I’m realllyyyy struggling with sitting down comfortably and also standing up for too long. I think that’s the most painful thing about this whole procedure haha.
I was roughly a 34A before, but had under developed breasts and I’ve lost 5 stone so lots of extra skin. I had 375cc above the muscle so I’m now a 34DD (roughly). Xx

Hi girls, had my surgery y’day I was the last on the list. Last time I’d eaten was 5:30am & water was 9:45am. I was starving & so thirsty. I was in so much discomfort when I came round & still the same today. I’ve never felt like this before & feel kinda useless not being able to do simple things without being in pain. I had 350cc but was thinking maybe needed to go bigger but so glad I hadn’t as my breasts look huge, the swelling is big but don’t know how much is swelling & new breast?? Any help with info would be amazing thx guys xxx

Sarah, it will be a few days until they start to look a bit more normal – it’s hard to tell until they settle a little. Don’t worry about being useless – I couldn’t even sit myself up and needed to be pushed from behind to get out of a chair, needed somebody to flush the toilet for me and needed help to get dressed! It’s totally normal, it will get better! You’ll be amazed at how quickly you get back to normal, even though it doesn’t feel like it right now.

I’m very happy so far! My breasts actually don’t hurt that much, it’s the back pain & the bum ache from sitting down so much that’s hurting me ? I changed my bra today but I can’t really see anything through my bandages. I don’t know if my photo has uploaded as it keeps saying it’s not! I cannot wait to see the proper results… i’m so impatient ? anyone else?!

Little update girls! Tonight out of nowhere I started having a reaction the the glue in my strapping. I called out of hours and was told to take it off. Me and my partner was only able to get so much of it off due me being in pain as I’m not quite 3 days post op. I was told to call my clinic in the morning and get an emergency appointment to have the rest taken off and get it all checked out. I really hope having the strapping off doesn’t affect my results but I’ve been assured that it won’t. We managed to get it all off the top half of my chest and it already feels a million times better and my boobs look bloody huge! I’ll update tomorrow! I hope you’re all well xx

You had the same as me with the adhesive reaction! Had to have mine removed after 5 days it didn’t affect anything at all was just happy to get if off but my surgeon ripped it off like a plaster and that hurt like hell although unlucky for me the strapping was across the nipples too and wow I felt that when it came off! Haha
After that is the fun part though when you get to see them you’ll love it!! Hope all goes well and don’t panic if there’s reaction redness mine settled down after a few days on it’s own xx

Oh no, that’s not good. It seems that adverse reactions the the adhesive on the strapping is fairly common, I’ve seen lots of girls get that but it seems to clear up after a few days of having it off. As many surgeons choose not to use the strapping it should definitely have no detrimental impact on your end result at all.

Glad you are liking the size of them already!

    Hey girlies!!
I’ve not long got back from having all the foam strapping taken off and I feel so much better! The redness and rashes are already calming down. Seeing my new additions was also a big plus! I know they have a lot of changing to do but I’m so pleased so far! I’ll be taking progress photos over the next few weeks so I’ll post some photos soon! The staff at the Nottingham clinic were so lovely, made me feel very welcome and assured me that the new girls will be fine. Xx

3DPO and strapping was removed 4 hours ago! I can’t tell you how relieved both me and my skin feel! They’ve started to balloon since the compressing strapping came off and my bra is definitely tighter! I’m looking forward to watching these drop and fluff over the next weeks/months! I can’t believe I have boobs!! ???
