Help! 5 days PO need advice on bandages please!!!!!

i could do with some advice please ! i was due to have my bandages off today and they rang me at short notice and cancelled my appointment i was 20 minutes away! takes me an hour to get to the clinic so i had to turn back around but i told them on the phone my bandages are peeling off and are becoming unsanitary and will need them cleaning before MONDAY which is the next available appointment ! im worried because the bandaging is getting caught on my clothes and is just hanging off in places do i take it off and clean them my self? i was meant to be getting a call from a nurse for advice but i havent heard anything since 2 oclock this afternoon has anyone else had issues with their bandages or does anyone just have any advice for me in general ? Help lol xxx

What bandages have you got on? Is it strapping? I wouldn’t recommend taking it off yourself as this can start infenctions. I would wear your post op bra over the top so the strapping doesn’t peel off Xxx

Hi amy! i have my post op bra on top but thats what its getting caught on when i move its like strapping because i had a uplift as well as implants i have more than one on its like one on my nipple covering that and one underneath my boobs covering and one to the sides where my drains were. im not bleeding or anything but where the pads are bloody thats where its started to peel off and become unstuck to my skin im worried i might catch it and tear it off by accident really worried about lasting until monday i didnt know whether to call another clinic and see if they had anything sooner xxx
