I’ve also ordered a V shape pillow but is there anything else anyone can recommended I’d need after surgery to help / make me more comfortable? Or anything you’d recommended doing the days upto? Just some after surgery advice please ladies! Thanks so much xxx

Hi Rachel! I would strongly advise buying a back rest, it really helps you with getting up after surgery! That combined with my travel pillow i was falling asleep no problem haha. My surgeon advised to stop taking all supplements & things like protein shakes 4 weeks before surgery, and if you go to the gym do lighter exercise, especially chest muscle wise. For post surgery i made sure I had a drawer in my room open with everything id need as I couldnt open a drawer for the first few days, and anything kitchenwise i left on the worktop. Meal prep too if you can, as the last thing you fancy doing is cooking! Also pineapple juice haha an ingredient in pineapple helps with swelling! good luck with your op hun! xx

I would say you’ve got everything you need. Make sure you have some zip up clothes that you can wear, if not defo look into just getting a cheap zip up hoodie. If you don’t have an ice pack buy one it will definitely come in handy x

Ice packs are a life saver post op! Ingot a pack of 2 reuasble ones with a pouch you can strap around you for £10 from amazon. Cotton pads to put over your nipples so they arnt rubbing on the bra too. Get lots of protein rich foods in too to help promotoe muscle healing xx
