They stop the pill as one hormones can become a risk to clotting. They say 4 weeks… I don’t imagine it’s going to be a big problem but I would mention it to your pc unless you’re scared they may postpone you BA…xxx

I’m on the injection and mentioned it and they just had to tell me about the risks of DV which is a higher risk with any contraception had to sign a waiver.. at first they was going to post pone until it’s out my system but it’s long away and my partner only has to sneeze by me n I’d be pregnant ???????? (I’m not with Mya)

In my pre op my nurse said you don’t have to stop taking it anymore. So I continued as normal. 11dpo xx

They told me to stop taking mine. The risks aren’t high, it’s like not reading the risks for taking a prescription of antibiotics or something. There’s risks with everything. Personally I like to stick to the rules so I’ve stopped taking mine 🙂

You don’t necessarily have to stop taking the pill. There’s just a risk of DVT , but other things can also cause that. They normally ask people who take a blood thinner to stop taking it, as they are at a higher risk of developing clots. X
