Help! First car or BA?

Hi girls, so I’m in a position where I’m having to choose between having a BA (A cup to a C/D cup) or getting my first car. I’m still doing my lessons but I’m 30 lessons in so I’ll be passing in the next couple of months, but I’ve had my first consultation and my surgeon consultation is booked for Tuesday and I’m really stuck. I’m still at uni so I’m limited to when I can have a BA with needing time off but the BA would be one set payment per month whereas a car would vary every month with fuel/tax/insurance etc.

Has anyone else been in this position? I’m really torn! Also if I choose BA I could be getting it done as soon as December if they can fit me in. Thank you in advance! X

Haha I literally had to make this decision, I ended up picking the BA and due to have it in March, you just have to think what do you want more, for me I knew I could just start my saving all over again for a car if you pass you’ll always know how to drive and maybe even someone in your family or a partner could let you use their car till you get your own! It is a really hard choice because they are both so expensive haha but either will be worth it just really think about which you’d rather wait for 🙂 xxx

Hey Hun I got a car when I was 17 and wished I had my boobs done instead and just got a cheaper car… lol!! But 12years later and god nos how many cars lol I’m finally having my boobs in a week!!! Xxx

Boobs u can then use them to get a car salesman all flustered and lower the price of a car HAHAHA

Thank you girls!! Most of the people I’ve seen has picked BA as well so I’m swaying more that way! It’s something I’ve been wanting for years but never really knew when I’d be able to get it done..

With a car my logic is I could use it to practise in until I pass and then I’ve already got one, but the insurance will go up then etc, I’m just worried about all the uncertainty with cost that comes with a car, at least the BA I know what I’m paying each month! But I’m 23 now so half of me is like I should be driving by now? Just wish I could do both! Lol! The joys of being a student as well everything’s just so expensive! Xxx

Personally, I’d choose a car. Just because it would make life so much easier going from A to B and it helps you out a ton with jobs. Xxx

I’d get a cheap car and have a BA…. for a first car don’t go paying a lot you should build your confidence in a cheap little run around that won’t matter if it gets the odd dink (it will happen) then save for a better car for when ur in full time employment nearer 30 and have had your licence a few years which will lower ur insurance (or be an add on on someone’s insurance n use theirs if this is possible) x

I’m in a similar situation as you, and I’ve chosen the BA. I just thought while I’m still young I might as well use my savings on the BA, because I’ve seen so many people regret not getting the op done sooner! I’m still at uni too and I figured once I’m in a full time job, I’ll be able to get a car on finance and save some up from my part time job now. It’s all up to your priorities really, a car is obviously going to be more practical, but if a BA is what you really want for your happiness then I would go for it. Good luck! x

@lucymw21 so glad I’m not the only one in this position! I was thinking that, plus with uni I’m limited to when I can have a BA, only like 2 opportunities this year and then it’s my final year, I don’t want to be bedbound while doing my dissertation I’d rather get it out of the way.. Then after I graduate it’ll be a job and I’m not going to be able to take much time off so! Yeah exactly, suppose you can get a car anytime (money aside) but a BA takes a few weeks of downtime doesn’t it.. Yeah that’s true! Tbh it’s something I’ve always wanted to do but never thought about when, now I’m in a long term relationship it’s different as well, I’ve noticed how self conscious I am when I didn’t realise on my own.. I’ve seen your stats as well and yours are pretty much the same as me except im a 34A, I’m looking to get the same size as you too just not sure what profile/shape! If I go ahead I’ll be having the op on the 15th December hopefully! X

In a way, uni is sort of an ideal time to do it! I wanted to have it done this Christmas, but I can’t really take time off at Christmas from my job, so I’ve postponed it to the 22nd of Jan because I have 10 days off between the end of exams and the start of second semester. I just think as a student, we’re quite flexible, and most of us aren’t in demanding jobs, and definitely second year over third year is a wise decision! I think that if you’re ready, then go for it!

I’m so torn with sizes. I’m so petite but was offered up to 375cc which shocked me, although my surgeon hasn’t properly measured me yet (he’s doing that at my third consultation before my pre op). I don’t want to go big though (about a C, small D), even my PC advised me not to go too much over 300cc because I’d topple over haha! I think I’m going to go high profile and round because I’d like a bit of fullness at the top, but still looking quite natural. What are you thinking? It all depends on your desired look really, but it’s all so confusing! x

@lucymw21 yeah that’s a really good point, I’m just thinking ahead really i don’t want a big op during final year and after that I’ll be working full time hopefully so now seems a better time to me? Plus my pt job goes quiet over Christmas and picks up in spring/summer so I have more free time now. Ah yeah definitely better then, the more recovery time the better!

That’s literally the size I want, big C/no bigger than a D and as natural as possible.. But obviously they can’t guarantee what we’ll end up with can they haha! I’m dead set on nothing over 300cc it’s just a case of profile/shape.. I’ve seen a lot of girls expecting to get teardrop and ending up with round so! I agree it is so confusing! As well because we think we’ve decided what we want and then the surgeon can just come in and throw a curveball and you’re back to square 1 again haha! I’m in with Dr. Mounir on Tuesday. Hows your experience been so far? X

@kellienffc true! I think with a car the novelty will wear off eventually but with boobs I’ve been an A cup all my life so everyday I’ll be like ooo boobs! Haha! It’s just my family and friends would probably all tell me to go for the car xx

@LORNA my family were the same but personally i think boobs would make you feel better, i know for me thats the case, i’m going to be happier, more confident & just feel so much better in myself 🙂 which i feel is more important to me than it is to have a car which would probably stress me out more haha xx

@kellienffc yeah true me too! I don’t think I’ll realise how much of a difference it’ll make until I actually do get them done as well, because I’ve just put up with having small boobs for so long it’s just second nature now to never go braless except for bed and not pick up certain dresses etc I like because they wouldn’t look right.. Yeah true it probably would stress me out as well haha! Plus my logic is if I’m more confident in myself it might be easier for me to pass my test lol! Oh good I’m glad he’s nice I’ve heard good things anyway, I’m looking forward to Tuesday despite having to get my boobs out which I hate! Xx

Yeah i’m the same, i’m 24 so i just can’t wait to have them done & finally have some boobies i can have on show without feeling like a 10 year old lol! Good logic that! I never thought of it like that haha! Yeah he’s dead nice and makes you feel at ease 🙂 xx

If have your boobs done babe and just get a cheap run around you be surprised what you can get for your money if you look around! Cars are money pits trust me I work in the motor trade I’m a MOT tester and mechanic I see it all the time the spending never ends especially if you have a nice flash car they come with hefty price when it comes to repairing them! Thats without insurance tax fuel! And you only get bored of a car your boobies will make you smile for ever lol xxx

@kellienffc I’m 23 in jan so I think we’ve put up with small boobs for long enough lol! When I was younger I’d try kid myself into thinking they’d grow in eventually but they haven’t so times up haha! Oh good I’m glad he is, I’m looking forward to Tuesday, my first consultation with PC I had mixed feelings coming out but I’m hoping after Tuesday I’ll feel a lot better after 🙂 xx

@jo93-2 thank you! It’s nice to get someone’s perspective from the car point of view! My boyfriends just got himself a new car and he’s trying to sway me into having one now but I’m just more bothered about the costs than anything, once I pass insurance will go up etc it stresses me out just thinking about it lol! I think he’s saying the car because he might feel bad telling me it’s better for me to get my boobs done instead in case I get offended but I think it’d make it easier for me to make the decision then lol! Plus boobs last like 15-20 years my PC said so I’ll get more money worth out of them haha xx

Just tell him to put you on his car so you can drive his hahaa! It’s got to be a hard choice because if be stuck without my car now but I’m quite lucky my boyfriend has his own garage so I’m on his trade insurance so I don’t pay for it but I know id really struggle to save for my boobs if I did have to pay myself! I think once your boobs are paid for that’s it once you got a car you will always be spending maybe not massive amounts but it all adds up tyre here and there because it don’t matter if you got a bran spankin new car or second hand car they all break as I say if it’s got tyres or testicals it’s gonna give you shit lol but just get what you wanna babe only you can make the choice hopfuly you pick which ever ones best for you ???????? xx

@jo93-2 hahah we’ve already spoke about that he was gonna put me on his but now he’s ended up getting a new car and it’s an automatic (he drives long distance everyday to work and the clutch is messing his knee up) so it’s literally pointless for me to try learn in now lol! So he’s offered to buy me my own instead so I’m having to choose between that or the boobs! Oh that’s lucky, insurance is a nightmare especially for first time drivers they don’t half Rob you lol! Yeah I know exactly, it’s not a set amount every month like boobs would be so I cant say if I could afford it or not.. It’s just a pain knowing I’m turning down the freedom of my own car 🙁 Tuesdays gonna be the crunch time really with the surgeon appointment! It’ll feel real then and I’ll definitely know if it’s happening or not lol xx

I couldn’t get my BA till i was 44! Not for finances but lots of other reasons, if i was in this predicament i know what i would do, deffo boobs first, if it means using the bus/train/legs & lifts for another couple of years i can understand your dilemma but once you have your boobs you might feel like you could accomplish flying a plane rather than just being happy driving a car

@ljx6 I had my consultation with Dr Mounir last week and I really liked him. All I can say really is expect the consultation to be a lot shorter than you imagined (like 15 mins!), but Mounir was really helpful and he explained everything to me fully and answered any initial questions. What I felt was really important was that he would listen to what I wanted and he made me feel at ease!

I have a second surgeon consultation with him before my pre op to get properly measured, show him pictures and decide on a size/profile. We already know I’m definitely going under the muscle, and I’ve told him I won’t go bigger than 300 too! What I will say about him (and my PC has said too), he is about the natural look, but he prefers the bigger natural look, which I felt he was pushing me more towards. BUT he definitely still respected my decision to stay at the lower end of what he offered me (275cc-375cc) because I’m so petite, and my PC definitely agreed with suitability for my frame being 300 max. So don’t be surprised if he offers you bigger than you’re thinking right now! Of course he would never offer you anything your body can’t take, but he stressed to me that he likes to give girls the option to go bigger because so many regret it. I just know I don’t want to go for a higher CC because I want a C cup. As for teardrop, he did actually offer me the chance to go teardrop, but I actually preferred having a bit of fullness at the top when I was trying the sizers on. I want mine natural, but at the same time I don’t mind a bit of oomph at the top for 5k hahah!

@lucymw21 oh wow was it really that short? I was expecting about an hour? Well my PC rang me earlier and said my surgeon is going to be Mr mahdi now, not mounir! So that’s thrown a bit of a spanner in the works lol but shouldn’t make much difference I don’t imagine? I’ve heard good things about mahdi from some other girls too so 🙂 my PC said they’re both really similar in terms of advice etc. Ah okay thanks for the heads up! I understand what he means though, he probably gets loads of girls coming to him after with boob greed wishing they went bigger lol! Tbh I’ll just be grateful I actually have boobs for the first time haha! Oh yeah I know what you mean, my mind might change once I’m trying them on but I don’t think I’ll stray far from what I’m wanting now, it’s just the shape and profile I need to decide on really.
