    Hi Ladies

I had my BA 3 days ago at the Fitzroy, the first day was fine but yesterday I started getting burning pain in my right incision also my ribs are really painful. I have a macom bra and one of the mya ones both of them are digging in so much I have to keep taking them off. I slept in a loose sports bra last night and have been bra less most of the day, I’ve tried getting through to one of the nurses yesterday and today but they’ve been busy and haven’t called me back what shall I do? Do I have to wear the post surgery bras or can I just wear a normal sports bra? Ive got an ice pack on the incision and ribs all day, I don’t want to ruin my boobs by not having the right support but surely it’s not supposed to hurt this much?!

@kaylagreen I was the same I got a macom and it was soooo tight and un comfy so I put a tight sports bra until I ordered another sports bra , also my ribs were killing it felt like I actually broke one ! And when I touched it there was fluid all around them was horrible , I found out when I seen my nurse macoms arnt good for the shorter people lol cos they dig in where they arnt meant to ?! I defiantly wouldn’t wear no sports bra though you need all the support you need ! X x

M&S sports bras are very supportive and much comfier then a Macom, in my opinion. You need to be wearing one hun. xx

I loved my macom, and hated the m&s. I’ve just brought 2 from Asda for £15 and taken my m&s back. The Asda ones are so soft and not as expensive to try first xx
