Hi ladies I’m after some advice. I’ve been offered a uplift but smaller boobs or no uplift but bigger boobs. I’m really stuck so any advice would be great. I’m 36 3 Boys later and don’t plan on anymore in the near future or future at all but never say never ???? look forward to hearing from you

    Hi Hayley,

I’m replying from my hospital bed after just having an uplift. I think you need I decide what you want to achieve the most, perkier boobs, bigger, smaller? Consider the fact that if you have implants, they will add weight and there is the the possibility that you might need an uplift in future. My desired result was perkier boobs and losing some size was a bonus. Do whatever you feel is right for you, have realistic expectations and get a second opinion if you feel better for it. All the best xxx

Wow Charlotte and thank you for the reply especially from your hospital bed. Hope all is well and your not in too much pain. I thought I had it in my head but then I’ve seen pics and heard stories which has got me thinking again, sometimes it doesn’t help ???? I’ve got a lot of thinking rebooked for the 6th of feb surgery booked for April the 25th but really want to get things straight hmmmmmmmm. Thinking a second opinion just out of interest I guess it wouldn’t hurt. Thank you for your reply and rest easy xxx

Hi Hayley, I think you should really think about the outcome you would like, are you trying to achieve a bigger bust, or are you trying to achieve a perkier bust. From personal experience, I had a BA 4 years ago and I was not advised very well and the surgeon recommended really big implants (this was elsewhere). And I’m genuinely so upset that 4 years later I’m now having to go through an even bigger op because I wasn’t advised very well. I was so happy with my results for the first year, but the implants were definitely too heavy for me. My breast have sagged a lot and my nipple has gone lower. I am now booked in to have an uplift and smaller implants, my main outcome for this op is to have nice perky pair of boobs that are going to stay perky and I won’t be back in 4 years time having to go through an even bigger op. Sorry for waffling on, I hope this advice can help you. It doesn’t necessarily mean if you go bigger you will be in the same position I am now in, but if my advice can help in anyway then that’s great! Good luck with everything and I wish you the best! Xxx

From what I have read i would go with the uplift. The implant is going to be heavier than your normal breast. Over time it will sag quicker without one. I have seen quite a few posts on here and other sites. Where they have been boardline for an uplift and after 2/3 years they have sagged and need another surgery for an uplift. For me i would rather have the 1 surgery and be happy than go back in a few years time and having to correct it.
