Hematoma?!

I don’t want to keep annoying the nurse with stupid questions
But has anyone had hematoma and what signs did you have?!
My right boob is like shinny swollen,, and the bruising isn’t just around my incisions it’s all on the side of my boob
And seem to have got worse the last few days?

Phone the nurse. You had a lot of bleeding after the op so it’s a possibility. You have paid a lot of money for the service so use is! Good luck x

I am worrying about hematoma too :/
my right side is so sore/swollen and really badly bruised! I keep trying not to panic and I bought some Arnica to help with the brusing.
I have a post op appointment on Friday at 12 so hopefully when the nurse has a proper look they can tell me it!
You do start to feel like you are worrying about every little thing haha!

Mine is exactly the same tho so bruised sore and shinny swollen.
Ah it’s so easy with the internet to self diagnose yourself isn’t it!

I got told to not take arnica until two weeks as can thin your blood x

Honestly its fine. I spoke to my friend who is a surgeon and he said its fine to take arnica straight after x

I am 6 days post op today, still early days but the bruising just doesn’t seem to be improving!
I bought arnica 30c from Boots

Heya the nurse saw my post and gave me a ring!
Made me feel a lot better
She said they don’t advise taking arnica until two weeks post op also
And that it’s normal for one side to heal different to the other!
(Sisters not twins!)
So swelling bruising etc is all very normal even if it’s just the one side that is
But if you do get more concerned to call up for a follow up appointment
Keep icing to, new best friend
