Hi everyone. I have my surgery booked for May 2nd. I have been so excited until a few days ago. A few people have been telling me bad and negative stuff about getting my boobs done. Saying I’ll get bad stretch marks, they will go wrong, I’ll end up unhappy, I’ll get an infection etc. Has anyone got stretch marks due to a breast Enlargement? I’m really starting to contemplate whether this is the right thing to do…

@charleyoi There are risks with everything when it comes to surgery etc, but I had my first BA 9 years ago and I’m booked in to have my second in 3 and a half weeks. I went from a 34AA to a 34D/DD the first time!! I’m only having a second op now because I want a different shape, I had teardrop the first time round. I basically went from nothing to a rather decent size, and I suffered zero stretch marks, no infection, minimal bruising, and even now… absolutely no sagging! It’s the best thing I’ve EVER done and have never regretted my decision. I don’t know if you’ve been advised to take Arnica tablets, available from Holland and Barrett’s. you take them a week before and a week after surgery to minimise swelling and brusing, and they seemed to work well for me! 🙂 Also use an oil a week or two before surgery (this is something new to me as I didn’t know to do it 9 years ago) Any kind of oil, olive, coconut, bio. Oil your boobies before surgery and this helps with the elasticity of your skin and so a little easier to stretch! I’ve just ordered a massage oil from Holland and Barrett’s which also contains Arnica, plus it’s all buy one get one half price! 🙂 At the end of the day it’s your decision and yours alone. But I’ve never had a single problem, hence me feeling 100% confident at going through the process again! Good luck in which ever decision you make! X

Stretch marks are a possibility but is that really such a bad thing? worse things that can happen than stretch marks. Had mine done over a year ago and I’m 5 months pregnant. Still the best decision I have ever made! Never looked back.

I don’t I deleted it but I will update my MYA account soon! Good luck with your op xx

& no real change. They’ve definately sagged a lot more but I wear a support bra day & night (coz gravity lol) I had mine done as I was done with having children but clearly this baby has defied all odds lol. They’re bigger too as I’m spilling a 30H/HH. I guess any change will be once I’m done breastfeeding. Praying they survive! Photo attached xx
