Hotel following op?

Hi girls! I live about a 2 hour drive (WITH TRAFFIC) from Fitzroy where I’m having my OP. I’ve just been told I should get a hotel but it’s really not practical for me.. what’s everyone else planning on travelling back home that far after OP or has anyone already done it? Any suggestions / advice would be soooo appreciated. (Also I could probably make the journey in just over an hour in no traffic, ie middle of the night) X

My journey with traffic is about hour and a half to Fitzroy, my mum was going to pack the back off the car out with pillows and duvets in case I’m allowed to leave during rush hour, although I’ve not had my opp yet so can’t tell you it’s going to be a nice journey! I’m in on 9th April xx

I wasn’t at Fitzroy but I had a 2hour 30 Mom journey home and I was spaced out of half of it I was discharged at 3.30 not an ideal time but I don’t remember half the journey I lay on the back seats xx

My journey was only about 30 mins but we stopped off at mcdonalds then went to get our car washed, I was totally fine and could have easily done 2 hours. I didnt take a pillow either. Good luck! x

Where are you coming from Charlie? Yes girls I think the pillows etc and laying in the back sounds like a really good idea actually I think I will just do that aswell then!! Wow Ellie that’s great I hope I feel that good after lol xx
