How long

Hey ladies. How long after you have had your surgery an come round do you have to stay in the hospital for? Tia xx

I wasnt a mya patient and was a day casr, i came round at 10:30ish but was very very drowzy until well gone 12 and i left at 2pm

Normally they say 4 hours from the time you are back in your room. But it varies, I was back in my room by 1:30 but didn’t leave til 7:45 x

I was back in my room at 3.30 I think and I left at 6.15 🙂 xx

4 hours after surgery because I didnt have drains, drains or sickness can be 6.

I wasn’t discharged 2hours and 5 mins after my surgery. They said as long as I’d had a wee and eaten and drunk and managed to keep it down I could go… I was fine when I came round tho. Wasn’t drowsy, sick or unsteady on my feet which is all factors they take into account xx

I had drains which had to be in for 4 hours after I’d returned to my room so they could monitor the amount in the containers. I had surgery at 11am then left at 6:30pm. Admission time was 7am so it was a long day! This was at Fitzroy as a day case X
