How long did infection take to clear up??

Hi girls. I have a very bad infection in my left boob. It’s where the join meets and it’s become so grim! I’m going to try upload a photo to show you all. I hope it doesn’t put anyone off. It’s a little painful and looks a lot worst than it feels! I just wanted to know if anyone went through infection and how long it took to heal? I’m on 4 antibiotics a day 500mg. The surgeon isn’t TOO concerned but I am in to see the nurse 3 times a week to be monitored X

The brown on the dressing is something called charcoal that they’re using to help the wound. X

After about a week of antibiotics my skin was pretty much back to normal and wound started to close up xx

Oh I’m sorry to hear this! 🙁 ive only just been taken out of dressings yesterday. Everything has finally closed up. I’m sure after a week it’ll be better. How’s everything else healing wise? Haven’t been on here for ages As I was added into a facebook page x
