Just wondering if anyone knows how long implants last even if you dont have any complications? Do they need replacing after so many years? X

Same here they are meant to last a lifetime. You just need a scan every 10years to make sure they are okay. X x x

I did a lot of research before getting mine done. They definitely don’t last a lifetime, you have to get them replaced if you look it up. They say every 10-15 years, it’s not safe to keep them any longer xx

Hey @shiv how’s your recovery? Why is it dangerous to keep them longer. I though as long as your happy with them and they are not capsular you will be ok x

Recovery is going ok thank you. If you look it up and see how implants look after 10 years you’ll see why xx

Even if implants did last a lifetime you would probably want them replaced anyway due to new and improved implants that are bound to come about in the next 10 or however many years..
I was told it all depends can last 10/15 years xx
