How long does it normally take from consultation to surgery

How long does it normally take from consultation to surgery date with MYA ? ????

I had .y first consultation on 12th may and my surgery booked for 17th Aug ive seen 2 surgeons think it all depends on if your happy with first surgeon or you’d like a second opinion to be fair xx

Hiya I’m wanting to get breast enlargement done in January 2019 the beginning when would you suggest me booking my first consultation ? Just not sure when to book it Thanks x

I wanted mine done quickly, mine was about 5 weeks from initial meeting to surgery. I met my surgeon about 2 weeks before!

Years! 😉 Don’t worry that’s only cause I took a break deciding what I wanted … I had a consultation in February & booked a July date

Def say get in for a consultation soon if you’re after January but the consultant can match you to a surgeon & a date that will work for you x

I want mine about october- november iv just left it to late for my consulation so dont think i will get it done so soon xx

I had my consultation in June and I’m having surgery in September so just go along. I could have had it 19thjuly but was too soon with the kids x

I had my consultation 7th June and surgery 25th July. I would say from consultation to surgery it’s on average 7-8 weeks. I was lucky as I got a call asking if I could bring my surgery date forward by two weeks because of a cancellation, I was over the moon!

Nico1980 who did you have your surgery with ?

@baylea55 I had my consultation in May and booked for October only a month ago!
I don’t think it’s too late as the diary isn’t open for pre op yet!

I think it also depends what surgeon you want and what avaliabilty they have,
I think from first consultation to opertation you have 6 months to book surgery before needing another consultation after 6 months you just have another consultation, Some ladies have booked surgery on the first meeting with the pc if they know for sure which surgeon they want,

I had my first consultation with a PC on the 12/05 and had surgery on the 15/07. x
