How long does it take from 1st app to surgery?

Hello I hope you’re well!
I have my consultation next week and I was wondering how soon it would it be from the first app to having the surgery? Thanks!xx

Mine was just over a month but I told them that I wanted it doing sooner rather than later due to work commitments and having a holiday booked Dec/Jan so wanted to be as healed/recovered as possible by then xxx

Guess mainly depends on slots. Think there has to be a cooling off period too. Mines going to be just over 6 weeks. I’ve had two consultations with my surgeon and a preop in this time x

By law, after your consultation, there needs to be a 2 week cooling off period. Then you can have the surgery (if they have available slots).

Mine was 18 days from my consultation. You can be booked in anytime after the 14 day cooling off period. X
