    Hi

I will be 2 weeks post op tomorrow. I had 400/425 cc HP round under muscle.
The pain was quite intense for the 1st 3 days but managed the pain with codeine, paracetamol and ibuprofen. I’m no longer taking any painkillers but still feel really tender to the touch, especially around the sides of my boobs. Getting dressed / undressed, washing and drying my hair etc still uncomfortable. I haven’t dared lift my 20 month old up yet!
Just interested to know how everyone else felt at this stage to put my mind at ease that this is all normal part of healing.

    Thanks

Hey I had 400cc and 450cc HP but mine were over the muscle I’ll be 2 weeks this Saturday and have a 1year old and it’s been tough!!!! I felt awful as my son wants me to hold him and I’ve had to get my eldest son to help me with everything..

Under the muscle takes longer to heal than under the muscle I’ve heard it can take 7 weeks to heal so what you’re feeling is normal. X

Thanks Jolene. It’s tough recovering with little ones isn’t it, my 20 month old is so heavy i darent lift him at all, I’ve been so lucky to have my husband home up until now but he will be back to work next week.
I have a 5 year old too but she is pretty easy to look after.

I am 3 weeks post op now after unders and I definitely have noticed a big difference in the past week, urs are a good bit bigger than mine tho so maybe u will feel more stretch and pressure than me. I am back at work and managing some fairly heavy work.

    Hey 💞

I’m 3 weeks post op and I started not taking pain killers around 2 weeks too
And still now the sides of boobs are sore especially on the left boob
They are also tender to touch too
the first week / week and a half were worst for me as I had really bad burning for that length of time before it went 🙏
I also had sharp shooting pains through my boobs and through the incision area but this has now gone 🙏 I hope you start to feel better soon
    💞Xx
