    Hi all,

I’m having my op in 3 weeks time. I’m currently a size 32B (a small B at that) and am going for 375/400cc unders. However, I need to make the choice about whether to have HP or UHP. I really want them to look as natural as possible. Dr Mounir has advised that HP can stick out more at the side whilst UHP lessens that but does give more projection. Just curious to see if anyone else has been in the same boat before and what they decided to go with?

If you have small back like 32inch it might be better to go with uhp, im going with uhp and im 32inch back size, as Dr. mounir advised hp have wider base and might be more visible on their sides if you are smaller back size xx

Following this thread with great anticipation 🙂
Hi Kirsty, do you have any existing problems apart from size? Ie a noteable gap, wide breast bone, or rib cage problems etc…? xxx

Thanks for the input guys! Hi Claudine, no not really. I have very slight asymmetry but not enough to warrant having different size implants in each boob. I don’t really have cleavage at the moment as I’m small, and going under the muscle won’t make my gap any different. Tbh, the look of my current boobs is fine, they’re just small!

Im very petite like you (but have all of the above) i had 375cc HP unders with Mr Mounir 4 months ago my gap wasn’t big but due to my issues the HP hasn’t worked for me at all (i had small breasts, a 34b volume at the bottom so no natural clevage but could make great clevage with the use of a bra, my breasts now are alot bigger but there mainly sideboob i have no projection, there flat fronted and can’t make a clevage at all so the appearance in clothes is worse, i obviously have to wait a few months to see if they soften more and can be pushed together but if not one of the options is to replace with UHPs, i will post the charts for you so you can see the difference in dimensions, theres very little in it, in my case (and yours too if 375 is the choice of implant) my HP is 12cm wide UHP is 10.5 so overall i would decrease in width by 3cm across the chest, may not seem like alot but on a very narrow chest i think it might make a worthwhile difference, also projection is 0.5 cm bigger on the UHP so im hoping it would just take them from my sides and project slightly better at the front, im not sure why UHP wasn’t a choice for me initialy but there must have been reasons, you might get lots of different opinions on the UHP, ive spent some time looking into them recently and they seem to be coming more and more popular with surgeons on patients with a narrow chest especialy if volume is at the bottom, they started out as the implant largely used in breast reconstruction after surgery but are becoming more popular, ive found a few comments that question longevity of the implant but ive also come across a few surgeons who will no longer use the moderate plus, i guess the more you look into something the more good and bad you will uncover but i wish i had had them now and in any images i have managed to find i have not seen a fake look especialy when there placed under the muscle, hope this helps in some small way, good luck with your surgery your in great hands xxx

Awhh thanks, that was really helpful! In my first consultation with Mounir, he only mentioned HP but during my second consultation yesterday, he said UHP would probably be better for the look I want. He also said he could do anatomical but they have a risk of flipping

There seemed to be no mention of UHP on the forum then suddenly over the past few months ive seen quite a few people have been offered them and chose them, a few of those have been Dr Mounirs patients, maybe he is enjoying working with them and seeing better results in a narrow chest, we might see alot more girls having them in the coming months, i know there not exactly new to the market but i suppose it will allways take time for a surgeon to gain confidence in any product addition they can offer and feel comfortable using it, here are the charts they may help you slightly xxx

I had 375cc UHP unders, 6WPO today. I was offered them by Mr Kazzazi because I am petite size 8 and small backed. The 325cc HP I ‘tried on’ splayed under my armpits, consensus is that the narrower base sits neater on chest wall and the benefit is you can go a few cc bigger for more smaller ladies. I’m happy with mine albeit they are still quite high and all upper pole fullness, I think I made the overall right decision choosing UHP. They look no faker than HP in my opinion. X

So looking at the chart, you generally get 5cm more projection with UHP than HP. Reading what you’ve all said, UHP might be the better option for me coz I am quite petite. What size are you expected to be now Jen?

No Kirsty with a 375cc HP your projection is 5cm, with a UHP it’s 5.5 so it’s only half a centimetre bigger but the difference in base width (12cm HP 10.5 cm UHP) means for some ladies they could go up in CCs, for example if you were told based on your own imprint you could carry a 375cc HP then you could ask for a 480cc UHP because the base width on that is 11.6 so still narrower than the 12cm you have been told would fit but your projection is now 6cm instead of the 5cm you got with HP (obviously if you had a narrow chest and they were using a UHP because of that then they probably wouldn’t want to take you back towards the 12cm width) but 1cm is alot to add onto a small bust especialy if it’s also just gained 2 cup sizes through having the op, again though if you were going over muscle then that actualy could project too far for some ladies liking but still not enough for others xxx

Sorry I mis-typed! I was meant to put 0.5 cm more… I was watching orange is the new black at the same time so I was a little distracted haha ???? I think I’d still go for the same size in UHP as I would for UP anyway, I want be bustier but not too busty! I’m going to go under. I can go over as I do have just about enough breast tissue but it wouldn’t result in a natural look on me

I had 295cc UHP with Mr Mounir just over 4 weeks ago. He originally suggested 300HP at our first meeting. I am so glad I went with UHP. I have a very narrow chest (I’m a size 6, 28 back), they still have a lot of changing to do but they don’t look ‘fake’. I had absolutely no boobs to start with, but Mr Mounir told me I would never gain a cleavage as I have a natural gap in my breasts also. I am so happy with them though! X

if i had the choice to go back and do it again id go for UHP because id have liked them to stay at high up as possible and UHP will give the longest time before they start really sagging xxx

Oh that’s interesting Sylvannia! I haven’t seen so much conversation about the sagging part. The thing with UHP that scares me a little is the projection though. Now I’m getting closer my to op date, I’m starting to get a little nervous over whether I’m going too big!
