Going to London travelling from Belfast for surgery on 18th August. Only had it booked for a couple of months but it’s dragging on I’m just so excited!
I’m not getting them done with MYA and getting 350cc under muscle implants, planning to go back to work 7 days after in a hotel is this a horrible idea?

    Just can’t wait!!!!!x

Hi Rose, i know the feeling! My surgery is the 19th of Aug..so excited! I’m addicted to looking at others experiences on here and on youtube. I’m going for 400 cc under the muscle i was offered 350 375 400 but i know i’d regret not getting the most for my money lol. I suspose it depends on what u do at the hotel if it requires any lifting or cleaning a week might not be enough but everyone’s recovery time is different so wait and c how u feel x

Please please please don’t go back to work after 7 days. You honestly need to rest, I had 350 unders, I have a desk job. I went back last Monday to do a 6 hour shift and hurt so much. I’m off until Friday so all in all I’ve had over 3 weeks off work, it’s so important to rest and take it easy. Just advice from my experience x

I think everyone’s really different, I’m only 4 days post op and I’m due to go back to work Friday which will be 7 days post op and I think I’ll deffo be ready then, I’m not really in any pain any more just a bit stiff in the mornings. I’m obvs going to only take a tiny hand bag and take the tube from the station to my office where I usually work so to not over do it but I honestly feel like I’ll be fine. Guess you just have to wait and see, everyone’s recovery is completely different!

    I just can’t wait!!
No I’m reception so shouldn’t be too bad, managers are amazing so they’ve agreed to me doing phones for the first few weeks so just sitting answering that so won’t be putting too much pressure on myself. More worried about driving after? Anyone had any experience with that? How long did you wait before driving after?
I was thinking 350cc might not be big enough? Going to ask him next consultation if that’s the largest as I feel the same, might regret not getting them bigger!

Just looked at your stats @rosekate12 and I’m 5ft 2, 8st 8 and iv been offered 355 or375s so either they will be massive on me or small on you. I’d talk more with your surgeon. Iv followed a lot of 350: an they seem to be the popular size x
