Incisions

How long did it take for people’s incisions to heal?
I’m 2wpo and took my dressings off 2 days ago (had my first shower!), and they look like they’re well on their way to healing.
However they do sting, particularly when rubbing on my bra and on a morning. So I just wondered when other people’s incisions had healed/ scabs came off. Thanks xxx

Im 3 weeks and got mine off at 2weeks. Very well healed and during the last week scabs are all off too. Now just waiting for 6 weeks mark to start on scar treatment.

Fingers crossed i’ve just a week left of worrying about catching/ pulling the scabs. Thanks xxx

Do you know what’s best to put on the incisions at 6 weeks? My nurse said I can out E45 on them now (11DPO) but I’m scared!

@clairc I’ve read a lot of people recommend a silicone based scar cream to be the best, that dries and forms a layer over the scar. Amazon’s a great place to find one as they all have reviews. I’m yet to buy one myself yet as only 6days p.o. x x
