Infection:(

Hey girls.

I was just wondering if any of you have ever had an infection in your stitches before?

basically my incision wasn’t healing and what appeared like a ‘hole’ formed at the end. I went and had a swab and it came back I had an infection and need anti biotics.
was wondering if any of you had had this before so that you can tell me if its serious or not? as the nurse didn’t sound to keen about it but was trying to make it sound reassuring?

the infection is called – Staphylococcus aureus

Hi babe how are u getting on? U have caught it early the antibiotics should get it under control and clear it up just keep a close eye on the hole x

Oh no hun, sorry to hear that & hope you’re ok! Apart from the hole in the incision do you have any redness or spots around it? xxx

Try using warm salty water on cotton wool and clean 3 times a day xx
