INFECTION? HELP!

Hi guys.

I’m now just over 2 months post op and everything has been fine till tonight. I was putting bio oil on my scar and a scab has come off! I now have a slight hole which is a yellow colour? Anyone had anything similar ?

Ring your nurse and see what she says, i had somthing like this about a week after surgery and she just put a yellow thing onit (cant remember the name of it) with a dressing and it went within a few days xx

Hey! I had something similar to that so I got on to my nurse straight away… What I had was a ‘spitting suture’ so my body rejected one of my dissolvable stitches. Once the scab came off it healed up quite quickly, I just made sure to put some antiseptic cream on it and a plaster over it for a few days. Hope you get sorted soon!

I have this too! I have to go to see my nurse on Tuesday so she can have a look and see if the stitch needs removing. I’m gutted! I am going to be seven weeks post op on Monday and I was expecting to be fully healed and back to normal by now!
