Is anybody using any type of bio oil or gel on their scars?

I’m wanting to use some form of oil or gel but not sure which is best and also when do I start using it how many weeks post op is best? Thank you! Xx

I’ve just been to see my nurse and she said to start using bio oil or Vaseline now (I’m 3 weeks post op) She said it will he’ll soften the scabs and improve the look of the scar.. Hope this helps xx

Ah really, I’m 2 weeks post op tomorrow and allowed to take off my plasters and stuff so was wondering whether to start straight away or not??‍♀️ Xxx

Yes it’s fine if it’s all scabbed over and not oozing xx
