So after a long 4 month wait due to uni my reop date finally came today!
Set off to catch the train for 9:30 and got to MYA Birmingham clinic at 11:20.
Was taken up to room at 12:15.
Filled out some paperwork and put on my sexy gown, paper pants and
    hat.
Then Mr.Kingdon came in and drew on me and then the nurse came in to
get me. I led on the bed and Mr.Kingdon inserted the needles for the anaestetic.
This was quite alot more uncomfortable then the last time.
After anaestetic had set in I was more than fine and Mr.Kingdon set to
work putting the laser in and melting away my minging flabber! haha
    then he sucked it out.
Although I did only think I was getting the lower abs redone he
    redid upper and lower.
After about an hour I was finished.
In total he removed 1.25 litres
Am now at home relaxing with a cuppa!
When more water has left my body
    will start to upload pics

Thank you for sharing your story! But why did he remove both upper and lower abs fat? Any post op pain? Are you happy with your laser lipo?

I honestly dont know why he redid both haha
as at the consultation about the re-op
it was agreed it would only be the lower so I was just as confused lol.
No pain this time just feel like I have pulled a huge muscle in my stomach
Very bruised today and a lot of leaking yesterday but slowly going away 🙂
I cant comment just yet if I am happy with results but am hoping to be this
    time 🙂
Will upload pics when swelling from excess water has gone down
    abit more

bruising/swelling are obviously something you was expecting! Its good that fluids are going away! Complete drainage will help towards swelling reduction!
    Waiting for your pics! 🙂

Thanks 🙂 can I ask why u had re op? Is it not always successful for people stubborn fat or something ?And if so I presume they will do whatever till it’s all fixed? Xx

Hey well I think it may have been
because I was generally bigger than most
girls that get it done in the first place and although
was fine with my upper abs was still unhappy with lower abs.
He took out another 1.25litres so hopefully once swelling has subsided
I will be pleased this time

In this point allow me i would like to add that there are some instances when lipo isn’t succesfull or some defects appear.. fat grafting and vaser lipo are options in order to fix defects and usually the results are satisfactory

PS: Had vaser lipo in lower abs and i am fine with the results
PS2: Now adding you as my friends
PS3: Gail, a new private message is just sent to you

I need to do some research seems a bit confusing to me and I dot want to have a high expectation to begin with haha I’m on it now 🙂 what does this like reduce actual fat cells or something ? So benefits in the long run? And do either of u know if it’s more successful if you are a bit bigger or would it work on someone with stubborn fat areas ? Xx

Yeah he makes an incision then put the laser in an it breaks down the fat cells
like liquifies them then when he has finished melting the fat cells he puts the sucky thing
in to take the fat back out. After that he reintroduces the laser to tighten the skin back up to
    reduce bruising and bleeding.
They usually say it is for people with stubborn areas as it removes a smaller
amount of fat than VASER or traditional lipo.
    Hope this helps babe

Romani described it pretty fine! What i would like to underline is that generally the ideal candidates for liposuction are people that want to remove stubborn fat that can’t be eliminated with proper diet and work outs! Having said that its obvious that liposuction can’t fight (and it shouldn’t fight) obesity! Removing high amounts of fat is pretty dangerous and this is not what liposuction is about!

Romani thanks for accepting my request!! Is the recovery period pretty smooth?

it isn’t that much swelling, right? Good to hear you can move easier!

It is a fair bit more swelling than they first let on at consultation
as although it isn’t as muh as general lipo what your body goes through
    is still quite stressful lol.
Alo alot of the swelling is excess water left in that needs to be reabsorbed into the
    body afterwards
