    Hey lovelies,
    I hope every is well!
I just wanted to ask if someone is experiencing same pain as I am.. I have a lasting pain in my left boob, it started yesterday and the only thing that helps is being stationary. I have gained my mobility back in the upper body (4dpo) , not fully but can brush my hair etc and don’t feel any pain as i do it. but as soon as i stand up i can feel this horrible almost nagging pain in my left boob. just on a side of it. It kind of feels that the incision is opening (at least i imagine the pain to be like that) BUT it doesn’t hurt in the incision it hurts above the incision and on a side boob (hope it make sense).. It started yesterday and I still have it, so started worrying as usually pain is just overall rather than in one specific place..

I’m 9dpo now and I’m experiencing different types of a sudden sharp pain in my boobs, mostly in the left one. Sometimes it is what you describe as an open incision, sometimes like needle in my nipple or sharp kick from the incision to the side of the boob. It’s a weird feeling but I’m giving it a time as the right one seems to heal perfectly, dropping etc but my left one is still stubborn xx

Thank you for sharing Monica! If I’m not alone, means it’s normal haha wish you a speedy recovery and hopefully your pains will stop completely very soon! Xx

Hey, I’m 12 days post op now and my left boob had suffered more pain since the beginning. My right had been pretty much fine but I get all sorts of shooting pains and stiffness and stuff in my left and I told the nurse when I had my post op check up and he said it’s normal and that you have to treat them as two separate operations and there’s a number of reasons why one might hurt more such as if they spent longer on that one or it bled more. I also think where I’m right handed maybe the muscle behind my left isn’t as strong so is struggling more and not that there was much in it but that was also my slightly smaller one so has been stretched that little bit more so yea I shouldn’t worry to much your definitely not alone xx

I am having this exact same issue at the moment. I’m 10 days po and my right side has been absolutely fine but I still have so much pain in my left whenever I move. It always feels like I’m ripping the incision site open but whenever I check my wounds of course, they’re fine. It’s so strange that it’s been the left with all of us! My left side was smaller as well so the implant used is larger. I feel so much more mobile and back to my normal self except for this pain. How long did this pain last girls? x

    Hi Tor,

I have spoke to nurse and it is completely normals as technically you had 2 surgeries, one for each boob and thus healing is different. I think my pain at that time lasted 1.5 days. I am now 3 and a half weeks PO (p.s. time flies!), was feeling amazing the last week and a half and completely back to normal with the exception of not liftig arms high purely because we shouldn’t for a while. However, woke up with a dull pain in my left boob (left againnn!), which i think is probably because for the first time after surgery I was carriyng a bag in my left hand yesterday… In general I think I am healing really fast, my scars seem to look as if it’s been 1.5 months or so.. I guess it is just a matter of time when there will be no pain at all and until at least 6 weeks PO we should be more careful and not fully behave like “normal” as it is affecting the healing

Thank you for replying Jelizaveta. I feel like my right side is so well behaved, it’s the pesky left that keeps causing trouble and the pain keeps coming and going. Good to know it’s normal though and I’ll just keep taking the painkillers until it subsides x

To my memory I had one boob that felt annoying I was sure it was gonna be like that forever think it went away about 3months post op so I’m sure it won’t be permanent

I’m 5 days post op, I’m having pain too in the left breast. It feels so tight and a dull nagging constant pulling feeling like I have an alien inside it. I get shooting pains every now and then that takes me by surprise. It’s certainly getting better but it feel so different compared to the right.
I’ve been able to wash my hair and blow dry it since 2 days post op but always feel weaker on the left side.
So glad I’m not the only one. How long does this last for?
