Length of day care stay- boob augmentation

Hey!!

I have my op booked for 21st March yay!
I’m booked in at the London Welbeck hospital, I was wondering how long I would be there for? A few hours or all day? My husband is going to be parked up waiting for me as it’s to long to drive home and come back again, not that he minds but I’m just interested ! Thanks xxx

Well I got 9am to the hospital but my surgery was done at 4pm and by 8pm I was out having dinner with my partner 😁 bear in mind I had to travel 4h so I made room for extra time but my admission time was 1pm.

I’m not at London but Manchester but still a 3 hour drive and we’re hoping to book a travel lodge or something

Hey Leah, I was at Preston my admission time was 8am and I was first on the list so I was in theatre by 9. They keep you in for a couple of hours after to monitor you but I left at 2pm! Whole experience was amazing! Best of luck! X

The guidance docs say you’re supposed to stay within 90 mins of the hospital first night after op. We live a few hours away from Preston – has anyone stayed over night in the hospital what was the cost diff compared to say a travel lodge? Thanks x

I had my e consultation a couple of weeks ago. The lady said that the difference in price was £250 if the overnight stay was required but the surgeon would be the person who would decide if it was necessary
