    Hi ladies,
I am approximately 2 stone over weight and am booked in for a consultation on Saturday for liposuction with a possible breast augmentation.
I was just wondering if anyone had undergone liposuction with the same sort of amount to lose and would be willing to share their before/afters?

    Thanks in advance xx

Hi Hun.. This sounds like a lot to loose from lipo. Usually they advise you to be at your optimum weight/size and then you get vaser lipo in the areas that you have fat “pockets” – in other words areas that even though your at your target weight they won’t shift.

What areas were you hoping to get done? Xx

Hi thanks for your reply, my main problem area is my stomach, I’m pretty thick round the middle at the moment, and my thighs are also a problem area. I am a typical pear shape and tend to hold most of my weight on lower stomach, hips and thighs.
I gained 2st through a thyroid disorder despite healthy eating/exercise, I’ve never had a weight problem before, my condition is now stable however I can not lose even 1lb, I am not gaining which is obviously great but for a year now I have stuck at the same size with no improvements hence why I thought liposuction may be able to help me.

    Hi Kym,

I know exactly how you feel. I feel that if I was able to lose even half a pound per week this would be ok as at least I’d know I was heading in the right direction.
I’ve come to the conclusion though that even if the results aren’t as I expected they have to be better than I feel now as they will be removing fat.
My op is in 6 days so I will let you know how I get on with the results x

I doubt very much that lipo will remove 2 stone. It’s supposed to be for those problem areas when diet and exercise hasn’t helped shift.

Perhaps try and eat healthy and exercise first. If you don’t change your diet after lipo, the fat will just return. And I assure you the pain is not worth it if you don’t keep the weight off!
