List of things for surgery day and for recovery afterwards xxx

Hi ladies I’m nearly 6 month post op and know how nervous and excited you all are before surgery and have no idea what you need (I was useless lol ) so I thought I’d pass on a list of items which may help you with all you need on the day of surgery and after when your recovering xxx this was a list passed onto me which came in so handy x

A book or something to help you relax while you wait
Sick bowl for on your way home after as you will feel a bit queasy
V pillow
Hot/cold compress (I got mine from boots think it was £6)
Wet wipes
Button up top
New slippers
Hot water bottle
Senakot
Piriton (apparently you get really itchy)!
Roll on deodorant
Dry shampoo
Hard mint sweets
Ginger ale
Pineapple juice (help with swelling)
One of them water bottles with the straw in save lifting
Peppermint tea
Vitamin e cream (from the body shop) (Not to use straight away)!
Loose clothes! pjs, baggy hoody and leggings

Arrr brilliant thank you i have 6 wks to go and my head is doing over time i havnt got anything or done anything yet just dont no what im suppose to be doing haha so thankyou for this xx

Hi! That list is fab! Never knew that about pineapple juice! I didn’t even own a hoodie until last week and I’ve got three- and jogging bottoms!
I got the code 3 weeks ago it’s MYA2017 I ordered 2 macoms and one from amazon which someone recommended x

I got 2 Macom bras one was the normal
One and the other was the ultimate which I loved as it was so comfy (a little longer so less rubbing ) xx

I bought recommended to me post op M&S sports bras that have a zip up front. These are comfortable and cost £25 each with quick delivery to your home address. Worth a try ladies:)
