Can anyone relate, I had my blood tests done, all came back normal except my potassium (never had an issue before) my levels are 3.4. The normal range is 3.5-5.3 so I’m literally just below. Anyway the anaesthetist has requested that I have supplements, the surgeon hasn’t cancelled or postponed but I have 4 weeks to get my levels up. I’m worried it won’t happen.
that should be no problem. Usually it just takes 3 days of supplementation for potassium to normalise, and since you’re just borderline it will should be ok.
