Lump Near Scar

Hi girls,
Hope everyone’s well and coping well with the isolation!

Just had a question and wondered if anyone could help or advise. Due to covid-19 my appointment with the Surgeon 6week post op check up has been cancelled. On my left boob, I recently felt a small lump too the left on my scar, it’s not painful but the thought of it makes me feel sick haha.

Does anyone know if this is something serious like a rupture? Or part of the healing process. It’s hard to get hold of anyone because of covid-19!!

Is it actually a lump or maybe just the rippling feeling of the edge of your implant?

It feels like a tough lump. Looking at my boobs you haven’t feel it but when I massage them you can feel it.

Annie can you not email your surgeon to see what he says?
Failing that call you GP surgery as many are still doing telephone consultations.
I don’t have a clue about the lump as I’ve not had surgery yet but as your surgery was so recent I’d have thought its linked to that rather than anything nasty.
Best to get advice though from a professional who can put your mind at rest
